Point Break really introduced the possibility of Keanu or Ted Theodore Logan, as a bonifide action star, and Speed really solidified it, and you get him taking on an easy rider in Dennis Hopper. And yeah it totally had that Michael Bay corniness, and was a little like Die Hard on a bus, but it had its own unique LA commuter vibe going on, which made it worth the watch:)

I was one of the unfortunate souls who saw Cruise Control before the original. Speed has to be in my top 5 favourite action movies of all time starring two of the most bangable actors of all time.
