I love 3D speed! It’s one of the best all in Ones I’ve ver used in my 12 years of detailing, but I have yet try the purple spider cut pads! I was wanting to buy a 5” and a 6.5” to try them out but they are hard to find and they are very expensive! I wish I could get them for a more reasonable price.
Thank you again for all your hard work. Definitely learned. When using the rotary did you let the machine glide or did you apply lite pressure? How many passes with the rotary on the curves?
I have Spent soooooo Much $$$ on Various Detailing Product's over the Past Few Years, All Being Just GREAT Products, I do Believe at this Point, that 3D is most Likely the Best Bang for the Buck and is probably Better Than Most All Higher Priced Stuff out there?? I mean Like AMMO, WolfGang, Pinnacle, And Pinnacle Black Label, Meguiars, Etc, Etc. Etc, Etc... So many Expensive Product's out there but the Outcome isn't any Better than Using 3D Product's. That said, Nice Job Mike. Car Looks Fantastic! I'll have to work my way to just a Couple Product's. I got tooooo much Crap Cluttering up my Garage, and a Good Share of it Unused and a Waste of my Retirement $$$ For Sure!
Hello I'm a weekend warrior with a delicate green paint and a son to parents that own a 55 Chevy pick-up with thick hard custom paint with flames and pin strips. I have a Griot's G9 RO 9mm 6" buffer. came with a orange correcting pad, Can I use 3D speed with a correcting pad? Should I use a finishing pad instead? Would you recommend applying 3D poxy with a waxing pad once finished with 3D speed? Thank you and appreciate the reply.
You can use speed with the orange medium cutting pad, but if you don’t need that much correction, you can also use a yellow polishing pad or black finishing pad, you can apply 3D poxy on top of speed, extra protection.
3d1 is a polish/compound only. Not protection. Speed is a slightly aggressive polish that has a protectant in it so you can polish and protect in 1 step
