Yes, but he probably knows a lot about basketball and American football. The vast majority of Americans don't care at all about soccer. It's a very big country, and our top 3 sports leagues happen to be the biggest (in terms of value and revenue) in the world.

He doesn't watch football his favorite team is apparently Man Utd yet he has yet to watch one full game and I guarantee you that he doesn't know 95% of Man Utd starting 11 or who their manger is without looking it up.

I've met many fanboys but CR7 fanboys and fangirls watch the least football of them all. I know two girls who are absolutely obsessed with him just because of his looks. Tyler Adams is the American national team captain so if you’re American (like speed is) and don’t know who he is you have very limited ball knowledge. Mckennie is also very well known having played for juventus for the past few seasons and he is a leeds player too. Aaronson was also in the USA World Cup squad (all 3 of them were)
