Love the music, love the name, love the horse! I am a big fan of you and Grave Digger. Ablsolutely LOVE that you don't stack and chain him. I wish every person that raised TWHs would emulate your love, kindness, and responsiblity for this wonderful breed.
That was us, we did an exibition at the SHBEA world show 2 years ago. I was on Dig and my husband was on Ace his full brother. We have sold Ace. Thanks you for the compliment. We love Digger very much and we feel he is an awsome horse.
We're blessed with a now 14 year old registed racking horse that I've clocked at 15mph that he does effortlessly. Gravedigger is clearly in a class by himself and it's a treat to see him in action. Thanks for sharing this horse. We can tell how much this horse means to you. Regards-Bill
That horse is amazing! Love the music...it's perfect for him. I turn this on every now and then just to feel good. Really gets you going! Thanks so much for making this video!
I love this horse and you guy's. AMAZING!! You can tell he is giving all heart with no pain, HE LOVES IT, I see a happy horse. Yes he took my breath away. AWESOME!!
This horse is gorgeous--love his conformation. Very well put-together video. I have it saved to my favorites and play it when I want a serious case of GOOSEBUMPS!
that was so fun to watch! thanx so much for sharing- my horse has pretty bad hocks, he could never do something like that because of how he was treated by someone else earlier in his life. i'm so glad gravedigger has such a good home and performs so wonderfuly and beautifuly!
I think the less than stellar video quality is playing tricks on your eyes, he has a really smooth gait the whole time, and his rider doesn't get jounced at all.
I dont just like the way ! I L-O-V-E the way he moves .Looks like he has it all Style, Speed and very smooth. You all are so very lucky to own him.I also love the way this guy rides this horse they compliment each other.
I have a 2 year old by Gravedigger, a 1.5 year old by Gravedigger (full siblings, ) and their Dam is in foal to him again. I also have another mare in foal to Gravedigger. He's awesome and I still tune into this video every now and then because "I like the way he moves." I can assure you, this horse is not sored!
Thank you Jengersnap. He is a very talented and special animal. He is loved dearly by us. We feel he is incredible. He throws awsome babies. We hope one day to show people they can truelly rack at the higher speeds. We azre trying! There are so many sceptics out there though it feels like a loosing battle.
Thank you all for the kind comments and to those that think he is sored I invite you to come to the barn any time you can see him in his stall look at his legs and feet and I will tack him up and ride him for ya! This horse is and has always been 100% natural!
I love this video and think the music fits the horse's gait. He is doing what comes natural. I have a friend that has a registered Arab that racks also, however, they discourage him. That tells me that somewhere in the common ancestry there was an Arabian horse that passed on this wonderful gait to more than just the gaited breeds. Yes, I do have one of these horses in my barn and she's just a dream to ride and she's cowboy shod!
Man, He sure does get it done! Anyone that knows horses should be able to Clearly see this horse is loving what he's doing here!!!! If you can't see that, you dunno much at All!
Beautiful horse!! I have a racking horse - haven't clocked him yet but we gait and my friends on Arabs and Quarter Horses are galloping. Fun Fun FUN!! And, they have wonderful personalities. No spooking, great ground manners. Best out there.
Ok, just to start off-I'm not a "gaited horse" fan per se, like my "trotting" horses-quarters/paints, BUT THIS HORSE IS AMAZING!! WOW!!! Not only is his movement/speed incredible, but he's got substance in his build!! Like the fluidity.
This horse and rider give me goosebumps! I have a TWH that has gaited similar to that (much slower!)on the trail and it was incredibly fast and smooth. I wish I wasn't a damn Yankee! Gaited horse lover from Oregon
Your horse is an amazing athlete. My daughter and I were spellbound by his performance. We have never seen a racking horse at work before. We own a Paso Fino who would love to race you!
I have read all the comments people have left for Gravedigger, The only reason i can see why anyone would put down this beautiful horse is just plain jealousy. He is a drop dead Gorgeous horse.
Here I thought a mare six with the throttles open was the biggest rush you could get off your feet. DAMN! Great form, too, nice and tight in his hocks.
Very nice to see this; great rack, smooth movements and the horse is allowed to work and use its body! So many bad examples on gaited horses of this kind, but Gravdigger is great!!
good looking horse i have a pacer/twh and hes 2 yrs old hitting 40mph and holding his gait the pacer gait of course but he still saddles good keep up the good work vids coming soon
Nice easy hand on the reins :) you aren't driving the horse into the gate like I've seen in some. And thanks for flat shoeing the horse. All natural is the way to go. My family used to have a walking horse mare, she 'walked' in the pasture. And man could she move when she felt the urge! The other horses needed to canter to keep up with her. My Dad could always make her settle into gate, but I ended up with her doing this bumpy skip thing a lot because I didn't know how to trigger the gates properly.
Thank you for your wonderful comment. Digger has become alot more popular that we ever expected. People come to our farm just to see him even people without horses. We have even had people cry when we bring him out. To me he is just a very special horse but to others he almost seems like a movie star. LOL!! But we love him no matter what he is. He is very special in our eyes. Thanks again for your great comment.
TNW, Yws the calsonic is very big. We were showing at the Spotted World and brought the two Speed horses up and practiced all week in the calsonic. They than asked us to do a exhibition with them. It was great fun and the crowed loved it.
Your horse is magnificent and electrifying!!! I love his consistency and boldness. I think I saw him live at the Calsonic arena at the SSH show with another racking horse (two horses in the demonstration); the two riders were dressed in Saddleseat attire and the rest of us were in Western show gear. I would love to see him in person again.
wow! I've only ever heard people talk about "the Grave Digger"...as if speaking of a god... lol, but this is the first time I've SEEN that the horse does in fact, EXIST! Cool, I'm not much on Walkers, but that is one amazing horse!
He is beautiful, I remember stumbling on this video years ago. The music and your boy just go together wonderfully. What a ride, and he loves showing off. Thanks for sharing him with the rest of the world ♥️
I too "Start My Day" with a dose of GraveDigger! Watching him is better'n Aerobics! he he he...'Gets me motivated! oo-rah! Your video is better than the band's video for the song...I'm going to see about contacting them, to see if they've seen this!
Basically a trotter as we use them for harness racing pulling the sulky. Except you ride these in saddle. Looks like the very similar trot. Also similar as the tennesse walking trot. It's a fast and level ride. This guy is a very nice mover.
The Virginia Undertaker's USTA name is The Other Horse. If Heather would ever slow down long enough to show her horse outside of FL, he'd probably do very well against exceptional competition. I've always liked Digger.
nice that is some speed ive seen a quarter horse appie but he was galloping full out so for him to go 25 mph at a trot that amaazing even if he is a speed racker
