good old days but no attendant in southend pmsl do miss them as i was 16 and riding a 50cc day time and at night i had a suzuki x7 250 that i used to race around on

Hi I have a question: my speedfight 3 ac 2t, has problem with kickstart and electricstart: the fuel pressure seems off (the fuel go’s up and down). It doesn’t keep the pressure so that the fuel reaches the vacuum pump. I am not sure wether I have placed my vacuum pump in a right spot. It is near the 12v buddyseat cables.
Love your videos watch them all was hoping that you can help trying to fix a Suzuki burgman 125 a 2002 model getting a ticking noise but no spark have checked starter motor coil and tried the screwdriver across to bypass starter switch still nothing as your a scooter or moped wizard any suggestions thanks for your time and patience
@@marksavage thanks and be watching like your channels mint have noticed that when trying to start battery goes low and horn stops working then switch of couple of mins checked battery with multimeter and full new battery on will that mean cdi as checked and changed will that stop when jumping starter with screwdriver nothing? Stator coil I think got video on hearing but can't seem to send it on my page
@@marksavage I’m Essex too. I just never assumed. I will be checking out some of your other vids. It all started when I fitted a new manifold. Up to then it was great.
I've found that E5 causes the washing away of engine crankcase sealant around the crank bay area on three 125cc 2 stroke single engines that I've had to re-seal with ethanol resistant Blue Hylomar. Around the crank bay area all the factory RTF or previous rebuild silicone was gone, which was why the engines had started burning their gearbox oil. This is because ethanol dissolves silicone & RTF (original black rubbery factory crankcase sealant).
How long will it last tho???? As i seem to have the same problem and also the garage basically did what you did and my bike lasted 1 journey before dying again/ after spending 240 pounds at the garage?

Hi mark I took my speedfight 3 apart to re spray the body parts on it and I found a pipe which wasn’t connected to anything looks like it’s for air flow as it’s not from the radiator or anything the pipe was hanging down underneath my plastics and was clipped up to just under my seat do you know if it’s for anything important I’m thinking it’s not because the ped should have broken already if it was important it’s just a black pipe with a black box connected to it and on the end it looks like a showerhead end let me know what u think it is as I can’t see it on the owners manual or anything
Oh okay the garage I braught it from had to change my exhaust as something went on it and they put a after market exhaust on it so is the Grv not needed then if I have a aftermarket exhaust
I hate to be one of those people correcting you. But it was 2 star, 3 star, 4 star pertrol. Not two stroke, four stroke petrol. 😂 But you know that Mark. Oh yes the joys of swapping out not rollers.. My typhoon is loving 97 super after that carp E10. Even 50/50 it was well down on performance. Take care mate.

@@dwaynemoloney3338 fuel comes out of the tank under the seat into the vacuum two pipes come out One to the carb and the other to the inlet manifold Oil tank goes to a pump and then into the carb What pipe are you talking about One egv comes out of exhaust and into the frame It does nothing and can be cut off and bent over Case is just to vent heat from the varitor
Hi Mark could really do with your help. My sons scooter just stopped working I have changed the stator, the regulator/rectifier, new ecu, new ignition coil, new spark plug and the side stand switch but still no spark. There is power in the ignition coil but none when spark plug is inserted. Any ideas welcome xxx
if you have done all that bud id be looking at your cdi again , power going in and back out as you can buy a duff one get a volt meter and start from battery and all the way along , dont forget wd40 all wires and make sure no breaks
I’ve filled my speed fight 3 50cc (LC) 2010 3 times with the new E10 and it actually runs better, it feels like its got so much more power and climbs big hills at 45MPH it’s used to do 35MPH
i use e10 in my 2003 Peugeot vivacity, it’s very similar to the speed fights in terms of engine, I’ve had no issues since I replaced the carb and change my head to 65cc airsal sports kit, but my original 50cc piston rings broke soon after buying it ( only had 8000 miles on it or so) thinking about e10 my have caused that, I also premix all my fuel going into the bike, anyone have any thoughts on this?
Haven't really worked on them But a sports exhaust will definitely help Still with the same of 1g per roller extra But a good clean up and check belts ok
@@mdmotorcycles10 when I use lighter rollers I find my clutch engages at a higher rpm, and vice versa for heavier rollers. I’m not too sure why but if you want to engage later I’d say choose rollers about half a gram lighter.
I have a BIG problem with a SF2 LC. I am almost 50 years old and have a lot of experience with 2T but doesnt have any more ideas on what to do.. Can I send you a movie of how it sounds and what I have done?
I watched it so we're you riding it and it's not revving right / running ? What have you done so far ? Was it running ok before ? Serviced ? Tuned ? Carb cleaned ,what size jet? I have lots of videos on my channel to help
@@marksavage cleaned carb, changed carb and still the same. It is not revving right. Right now main jet 54 the other one 35. It had been like that since we bought it tfebrary this year.. Running bad from like 1/8 to 6/8. Runs pretty clean and fast on full throttle.. Changed to smaller and bigger jets, no difference Moved the throttle neel, no difference. Changed spark plug, no difference Checked and cleaned air filter, no difference Changed variator rollers, a little difference but not much just lower full speed. Got 6 g weights in right now!
Hi mark i know this is a old video but im really having issues with my speedfight 3 50 lc ive got the idle screw all the way in and throttle cable screwd on the last threads to idle and really badly bogs on acceleration lumpy idle and black spark plug its had a new top end as badly scored so bought a narauku one and leo vince exhaust and new inlet manifold and reeds and crank seals but still having this annyoing idle problem and bogging
Take out carb and jets Clean and try going smaller on the main jet like to a 60 See how big it is now but this will help and check the seals and air box is on tight Do you have the link pipe on ?
@@marksavage I changed the plug, it did look a bit ugly but not white just a usual rust brown. Seems to have gotten used to super unleaded. I don't know if that's the malossi Digitrontic at play. I've asked everyone but do you know if you should remove the secondary air system box as it's not connected to the power pipe? Some people say leave it on and others block the hole with a car wheel bolt. The Digitrontic handles the sis valve but does that box serve any purpose now the exhaust is gone? I would really like a definitive answer as it doesn't seem to serve any purpose.

Ok let's open this question up !! Speedfight ? Air box ? 2 parts air box and extention pipe Some like it on other don't once upjettted etc If not connected it leaves the open part of the air box Leave it Exhaust ? It has a GRV ! Most disconnect it and bend it over Pipe left You can take it out or leave it Please explain more or do a video of it, then 8 can see what you are talking about Don't go blocking this up if you don't know what it is bud So give me more info
Oil injected 2 strokes, as opposed to the pre-mix 2 strokes, have the biggest problems with E10, due to being run right up to the edge of under lubrication.
