This needs way more attention, I can't even explain how much I love the symbolism in this piece that calls out the horrible shit that society does (victim-blaming, demonizing the victim, etc.)

I like the fact that people see her as a demon yet she really is just a girl who is trying to protect herself from the assulter

This is both a beautiful piece and you framed it really well for what you were trying to say with it; the spotlight being on her face instead of on the two hands holding weapons (but the one we do see is hers), the spotlight not looking fully at her bruised and beaten body, the demon wings, differently colored eyes, and stakes instead of knives giving the viewer a feeling like "even though it was self-defense he had a reason" the common excuse in trials, the only defining feature of the guy being a cross bracelet hanging out of his glove. This piece really shows exactly how adversely people react to women protecting themselves in a rape situation. You did an amazing job

I dont understand how anyone would dislike this video, it has such a stong message and on top of that the details in the art are amazing such as the spotlight focused on her face. Even if they are disliking the video just cause it became popular, how would they have the presence of mind to go out of the way to dislike. People are crazy man

the entire piece is really incredible, but i liked the cross around the man's wrist. this is just how i interpreted it, but the excuse of someone being religious and therefore is innocent really invalidates the victim's experience and the trauma that was inflicted upon them. also, the bat wings (or demon wings in this case), could show how rape survivors coming out are told that they ruined the assaulter's life. that it wasn't the man's fault, that this devilish woman came and tempted him, that the only mistake he made was giving into sin. i'm not sure if that's what you meant, but either way great work!!

Loved the effect of the light on her!! That with her eye was such a nice detail. Looked really like we just spotted a murder in the woods. The light went straight in what we would aim in that situation, her, and leaving the rest aka the aggressor and wings in the darkness.

The message is really strong. Makes me so sad that this happens all the time...

tw: implied/mention of sexual assault and rape . . . watching this again after being a victim of sexual assault by my ex partner, it feels even more meaningful now; the fact that the victim looks a bit like me is kind of funny. the spotlight can represent so many things when someone goes through rape or similar: society throwing all fault upon them, "maybe they have "provoked" it or "asked" for it in some way", "but it wasn't that bad" or "what they did wasn't necessary" like in the drawing. it's also terrible how it can even be a spotlight that the person puts on themselves, thinking that they deserved it or it was their fault in the end, and it's _so_ hard to make it go away. you did such an amazing job on this piece and on it's meaning, thank you for making it

This piece is already such a masterpiece but a detail I haven’t seen many people talk about in this comment section is the crucifix bracelet the offender is wearing, that’s such small yet perfect detail I saw that o thought needed more love.

Thank you for making this art piece, indeed r*pe is quite complicated, most assume that the r*pe is someone forcing themselves on you. But it can take a whole host of forms, physical, emotional, mental and coersive (blackmailing into being r*ped) even your partner can r*pe you, as i have learned, from my experience it can damage you without you knowing, i didn't know i had anxiety until my recent male fling, as we snuggled in bed i immediatly went into panic mode. If any of you have ever had a needy or over-bearing partner before you might unconsciously be suffering from anxiety, if you flinch away from snuggling in bed, go get some counsiling, and please be well. :)
