C.A.B.A.L, play music. 'Behold my children, listen to your screams. LISTEN, That is sound of your extinction.' C.A.B.A.L stop 'YOU DO NOT ORDER ME TO DO ANYTHING!'
Yeah this is one of the better missions. CABAL is programmed (lol) to send those mobile stealth gens at fixed spots so the enemy units will suddenly just show up at your doorstep
I’ve always been curious about something... Why is it that GDI Light Infantry have a sawed-off shotgun in the infantry menu when in action they use semi-auto weapons? 🤣
Did you knooooow, the voice actor of Cabal got his job due to voicing an A.I. on a scrapped kid's show a few years previous? Though I forget its name...however! Its the show the babylon 5 CGI crew made before they started on that.
So... why would GDI put the Tacitus inside CABAL's core? Especially in that highly suspect room with those big doors... They couldn't just have a remote setup in Team Firestorm's base or did they have their fibre-optic cables cut unexpectedly?
Basically, yes. I know I’m late answering the question. At the beginning of the game, CABAL was reassembled by Slavik. Then, after going through Nods databases, it produced a signal which blocked GDI access to their space command Philadelphia where its chief generals and other staff were located. EVA was also experiencing some difficulties and was not powerful enough to examine the Tacitus. CABAl was the only server powerful enough to run it, and they needed to physically reassemble it without corrupting the data within. Thus, they plugged it into CABAL to do so. He knew that would be the case and orchestrated it from the moment it had access to GDI computers.
NOD: Specialized in espionage and data stealing. Can't go past some mad boys and knock on a door. GDI: Waddles over and nabs it in minutes. Also is GDI technically the villains here for giving CABAL the power of control?
Why didnt you get any devils toungues attacking your base? This mission took me way longer :( It seems like CABAL throws different things at you depending on what you do? When I turtled he threw artillery and when I was building up a small infantry battalion he sends Reavers! Great game design
There were flame tanks at the earlier part of the game right after the artillery attack. What the AI throws at you is random anyway which is why I went with mass Titans, this method is the most resistant to RNG
