I talked to clash royale devs - they're in the process of making changes & working to make the update better. I relayed all the feedback about grand challenges, 2v2, mega draft, pass royale and all the other feedback I got from our community They told us yesterday they ARE fixing grand challenges back to before with bigger rewards / 100 gems so you can max accounts faster & have more competitive gameplay. That's the first ez fix they did - I would LOVE to see a change to pass royale or a way to farm season tokens faster next. If they did that, that'd make me really happy. Gotta be an easier way to collect the rewards we want!
Hate that 2v2 is tournament standards and u can't get chests or crowns from it. And I really dislike mega draft being the only option, I can't do trophy road because my xp level isn't high enough for the next arena so I'm just stuck doing nothing
Yeah I agree with you on 2v2 not getting chests - i've been pushing for that to come back! I never thought about that... if your xp isn't high enough that feels TERRIBLE that you can't play the main game. I would probably play classic challenges to level up my cards & at least have an even playing experience while I waited... but yeah not ideal in the slightest. Will tell this feedback to CR
@@SirTagCR I had a similar problem before. I was lvl 42 and I couldn't reach legendary arena even though I had already gotten to 7500 trophies. I started upgrading all my underleveled cards to get the most xp from my gold and to unlock some of the mastery tasks. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, though, since by the time megadraft ladder dropped I had almost all the cards in the game at lvl 11. It just took some of my saved up legendary and epic wild cards and now I can laugh at my opponents drafting a lvl 6 tesla with my lvl 11 cards lol. I still miss the old ladder though, Each season I was climbing higher on ultimate champion, it kinda sucks that it's gone. Megadraft just takes way too long each game.
Bro when I first saw this mode, I thought it’s gonna stop at ultimate champion but when I go to the ultimate champion, it’s also meg draft mode. Good thing that the card’s max level is 11.
I LOVE the strategy & lack of hard counters in this game mode (unless you draft a bad deck). But there's still some stuff they gotta fix: 1 ----- give everyone all level 11 cards (way too tough for f2p players atm) 2 ----- make it an option as a 2nd ranked ladder, not the only option (it's not a replacement for the main game) Clash Royale would be 10x better if there were two ranked ladders each season. The second ladder rotating game modes - including mega draft, 3x elixir, sudden death, maybe even 2v2!
A max level shouldn’t exist all levels should be 11 in the first place As a f2p player who only played for 4 years I only have like 12 max cards and 3 more level 11 so most of my cards are too weak for this mode
Me personally as a f2p player who just got to arena 15 after like a year of climbing ladder I only used like 1 deck so all my other cards are only level 8 😢
I’m struggling I don’t like draft personally but I hope this isn’t a permanent change to game. I wanted your opinion on it because it really is a monkey wrench in my daily grind for chest lol
Its hard to create content but I love your content no matter if its a stream or a regular vid I'll make sure to keep watching you through this season. I just think it sucks because I'm under leveled in throphey road.
I'll be opening them live on stream OR in a video as soon as a new champion or new levels hit! Hoping to max monk or mighty miner first; they're the most fun champions to play
Have you considered that maybe taking all this heat was an intentional hell they chose because it was the only way to force people to upgrade their cards? I think maybe they do this for one season, everyone has 11+ cards and fixes the party mode problem where people bring under leveled cards to skew competition. They may have plans for a future update that implements the party mode matchmaking
Honestly I think the new ranked gameplay is so much better. The mega draft isn’t perfect but what makes ranked games so fun is the ability to win or lose based on ability. All the draft modes are the best way to actually let the best players rise to the top of the game in ranked. Not to mention this is the most free to play friendly ranked we have ever seen from supercell. I love the ranked system currently I hope it stays at level 11 and draft mode. Love the content bro
I don't understand how you can make the argument about inflation on a virtual product. It would cost Supercell absolutely nothing to have just made the pass cost more, but give more rewards.
It actually took them money resources and time to make the pass less valuable to us. When it costs nothing to part with digital code because there's no physical resource behind it.
Was this before or after the miner nerf? Cause when I choose miner now, it just doesn't perform the same as it used to and I kept losing with him recently Edit: probably cause i am not a miner main but it definitely chnages the performance from the miner
Minute 36, that’s literally me right now on latter. I leveled up cards around hog as a win condition and everything else is under leveled. I think it would be best to have two ladders one with mega draft and one regular
The pass update is annoying but the main thing that annoys me is no longer getting crowns or chests from 2v2 as I have a lot more fun in those modes with nothing on the line and that’s mainly what I play. Now if I want to max out the pass I have to grind out mega draft which I’m not a big fan of with 80% of my cards being level 9 or 10
How can you speed run such a slow game mode? Lol takes forever to get the game going. Not sure ill play this mode much more. But as always great vid its more fun watching that playing!
Tried to rush up the ranks as quickly as I could It's super satisfying to see a draft plan work perfectly in your favor! Love this game mode - just wish it was an additional game mode you could choose to play or opt out of, instead of the only option. I vibe with it a lot but just not more than the main game mode!
They need to make a different version of Monk that reflects physical single target attacks back of course it'll be lower reflection it can be back at the target
Dude I hate this update so much, I love 2v2 and grinding mastery and chests with the cards that are my level and they completely threw the party tab away 😭😭 I legit used to play for at least an hour a day here and there, now it’s more like 10 minutes a day lol
yeah at first then everything goes up im kinda mad that people like me who are still trying to get my cards leveled up and have to play under leveled is kinda annoying

I think that the reason Mega Draft Ladder ISNT Balanced to a certain level is due to Mega Draft being the Grand Challenge. Basically turning it into a money grabber by saying The only way we will offer you a balanced mega draft mode is if you spend your gems on it otherwise itll be just like your standard mode. Now if they had Mega Draft at 100 50 and 10 Gems game mode that seems a lot more inviting. I personally think ladder which ranks the best in the world should ALL be a balanced level. In doing so however youll need more content for Trophy Road to make players level up their cards etc.

Why is it that the pass Royale has increased in price for the gold and diamond and yet there are worse rewards for them. Used to be a good deal but £12 is insane, over double the old price for similar rewards and gold even is 20% more for far worse rewards
If when the opponent was picking is showed their card levels and which cards the don’t have it would completely break the game mode and demonstrate how unfair it is for casuals. At least in the traditional path of legends it was obvious mid level player could only do so well. This current form gives the illusion of fairness but I’m assuming most players will end up near the same ranking.
I used to love this game. However I genuinely hate it now. 😢 I used to win 60-70% of matches but now I get on lose streaks 14+ times, it's just not enjoyable anymore. I don't spend and I'm up against people with max cards with mostly 10-11 cards. It's pointless.
Not many streamers would recognize that they actually meet a better player but cards interfears with ability to win. I watch your videos because you honor this and dont talk down worse players that much either. Theres enough hate in the world as it is
Look I don't mind the whole money thing about this game I get it it's a business but if it's a little more subtle, if it's more rewarding overall better experience of the game besides JUST the card leveling it'll be cool. Menu setup is VERY VERY important, I despise playing clicking all the way to the right JUST for unranked
Hi Jake - love your content! But I think you are a bit naive thinking Supercell did not know exactly what they did. They just moved CR more into pay2win to fill their pockets. Megadraft is in fact a fun gamemode - when the cards are even. With my not maxed out account it is crap. Either you have underleveled cards or your oppenent does not play at all and you have to wait for ages until it starts. It's all about the money and I don't think they will change that unless players stop playing.

I think it’s very fair considering the pay to play mechanic and regardless of what anyone or Supercell might say. There is a skill based matching making algorithm. This allows for less hard counter decks. Making for more skilled matches. I 100% disagree w you. I’d love for you to play on a free to play account where you spend 0 dollars on this game and see if you can find similar level of success.
I've played the 1v1 game mode in the events tab and only play against 7500 opponents. Meanwhile I'm at 6400. If it's really skill based man they must think I'm a really damn good 6400 player. Granted I am mainly that low because of level but still.
Of course, the update killed the game. Free to play is no longer possible. And I'm really looking forward to lvl 15 since I have a whole 20 cards at lvl 14 :-). I play the game since the beginning (My 15 lowest cards are on lvl 10).
Would have been awesome if they introduced it as a SECOND ranked ladder, so it was an option, not the ONLY option. And I will say this here aswell. F2P REstarted 9 January 2023. 26 Lv 11 cards, 46 lv 10 31 lv 9 2 lv 8 5 missing. Grand Champion as writing this comment, and I WILL BET I am reaching ultimate this month. THIS IS a F2P FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT. Problem is 90% of the community upgraded 8 cards to 14 in 6 years of playing and never even bothered unlocking masteries for the others. I THINK it should be a "third" ranked mode, but the clash royale community answered in THE MOST INSANE way I would had ever tought. I AGREE pass royale and stuff are s#!t. Megadraft ladder it's GOLD. And as a SKILLWISE enviroment; THIS SHOULD BE the primary ranked mode. CAUSE IS F2P friendly(In comparison to take ANY LEGENDARY/CHAMPION to 14 IT IS) and requires deckbuilding skill, and I swear, I saw the 1st couple of "smart" players building decks ON CHAMPION. I am harsh cause community is HARSHER against this SPECTACULAR (LADDER) UPDATE.

The new update is so bad I cant even play path of legends cause I only have two maxed out decks. The game is so unfair and pay to win Im so tied of it.

On the bright side for whatever reason the pass feels good I bought diamond. I also like the new emotes/animated banner. More of that and maybe skins would be kinda cool. I kinda feel like the book of books was over powered and at the lower levels it destroys ladder. I personally enjoyed the coin. I think I speak for many that we feel stuck with soooo many cards at level 13 waiting to upgrade. A couple ideas I had that I’d love to get heard is how about for diamond pass give us the ability to que all chests instead of just two. The next is something that drives me crazy is my wild cards. I can’t use any of them, all of my cards are sitting waiting for gold. let me be able to use my wild cards on cards that are at lower levels but not at max level 13. Such as a maxed epic card at level 12 (max at lvl 12 = 300/100) I can’t use any wild cards for this for anything over 100/100 it says I have to upgraded.
Also, as some constructive feedback. If your going to stream the draft challenge in the future. Can we dig deep in our bag of creativity and use more unique card combinations throughout the matches? I’ll put it on record. Yes. I draft decks im comfortable w and/or try to emulate the strats that work for me. Im also a casual. But as someone I religious watch. Please don’t use miner poison every game lol. There is a reason Mohammad light is considered the best player in the world competitively but he’s not a successful RU-vidr or streamer. Or at least I have no interest to watch him. I have no interest to watch any streamer who glorifies cheap tactics to win just be a marginal amount. I want domination. Go for 3 crowns. Like you normally do. Just stray away from the same boring cards. This game has 99 + cards! 99! (Factorial) The possibilities of decks should be endless. Unrelated. But since you can give feedback to devs. How many years have to pass before we stop seeing 2.6 hog rider. Or Xbow+tesla. We live in this weird society where there is no pride in what you do. Nobody wants to create their own unique deck. Have their own strats. It’s watch streamer and try to copy them. Weird people and ideologies for me. I’m also older then your usual target audience. But we should be similar in age. So I hope you understand what I’m saying.
I 100% hear what you’re saying here. I want to have a good mix in videos (this one was to try hard so I could have the best win rate possible). Since the game mode is new, a lot of people will want to know the best way to win, so I wanted to tell & clearly demonstrate that today. I’m about to go record some more fun, memey strats that are completely unique like a 3x graveyard deck! Appreciate you taking the time to give such elaborate feedback 🤝❤️
