Just found this sewalong. My husband is from Liverpool (about 20 minutes from Speke Hall) & we moved to Canada 13 years ago. Unfortunately he’s lost both of his parents so I’m making this to remind him of them x
Sue, I am very sorry to learn you lost Jim. I hope your fond memories of Jim give you at least a little bit of comfort. Your Faith, Hope and Love Fabric Collection and Speke Hall Quilt pattern are both beautiful tributes to Jim. Thank you for sharing them with us! I admire your strength and generosity as you continue on.

Hi Sue I’ve started my Speke quilt and have pre cut my fabrics. The pattern I have tells me to cut my WHITE fabric 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. BUT the other squares are 3 inch! Have I missed something here. I’m confused. It doesn’t take much for me to get confused. Help please.
I am making your quilt and purchased the computer pattern. I am surprised that it doesn't tell you which fabric is used to make each block. I am tring to figure it out by just looking at the pictures, but that is not so easy. Is there a place that identifies the fabrics used in the blocks?
Her blue vine and black stripe is used in this video for her HSTs. I make notes on my printed pattern as I go. I personally enjoy figuring them out. Not hard to do.
