Hi this is Paula who did the mock test with Peter in Speke in this video and I will go over some of the major serious faults I’ve had during this video. At 21:30 I wasn’t paying attention to the road markings ahead and was looking at the floor so I wasn’t able to move into the middle and turn right. I didn’t see the no entry sign but now I can rewatching this video and remember that it is a dual carriage way and I will look out for road signs more quickly and effectively. 24:40 driving into the bay manoeuvre, (even though I was in the bay) I should’ve picked an empty bay because it would’ve been more safer and it can potentially cause crashing into the parked car in front. I was too busy looking at the car behind me instead of looking forward and picked any bay instead of thinking logically. 31:30 I should’ve moved over to the right side faster due to the parked cars on the left but I did this very late hence why Peter grabbed the wheel. I now know looking back to not repeat these mistakes and to learn from them and hopefully pass my next mock test and be well prepared for the real exam.

Hey Paula - thankyou for posting your experiences to RU-vid via your instructor - I hope you have success in your future live test - I am awaiting a date for my own, which will probs be in Speke (as I am local to Allerton) and seeing your experiences on the roads walk down pretty much every day is great (love the unmarked cross roads reactions btw!) Hi Peter, I have a question. When they ask you to do reverse parking manuever. Do they give you the option to reverse into any bay if your choice on the right or left or do they instruct you do it either on the left or right. Thanks

@mahamusharaf6471 It depends on the examiner some will just say drive into or reverse into a bay, others might say drive into that bay, but your job is to do it safely. Good luck with your driving test.
