Congratulations on your New TX & Your New SAB Goblin RAW 580! Fantastic Flying Justin, very nice my friend. Stay Safe and Stay Healthy, all the best to You and your Family!
Nice setup bro. Not sure if you're aware but the front servo horns look like the resolution is out as the links seem not to be vertical from the horn to swash. Could just be cam angle?
Call Spektrum and tell them I’m due for batteries, servos , flybarless systems and helicopters. I’ll need your credit card too. Money dude. Nothing is free. Use the parts you have. Fly the heli. I have 35 flying Helis. They don’t all need a 6250. They haven’t made enough for my fleet. Lol.
Awesome Tx and heli, I have a question please. I heard you speak of the RPM in each mode. On my Tx which is the NX8, my rpm's say something like 11,287 rpm. I know that's not correct and I hope you can explain to me how to reset that or should I say get it to read and display the correct RPM per mode. I'm not sure if it's in telemetry or in Fow.Prog. Help a brother out. And of course awesome flight and heli.
Hey, figured I’d ask your opinion. Been chasing a tail wag on my OMP M4. Iv triple checked every mechanical and everything is nice and smooth and the shafts are nice and straight. Iv had some Facebook group members check my Brain2 set up and settings and they look good as well. The wag will speed up and glow down depending on my gain setting but even when I drop the gain to -55 to adjust the tail linkage to eliminate tail drift it still wags. Any suggestions on what you would look at or try next? Thanks for your time and your inspiring videos!
Hey man, yeah so the red flag I see is that you say at -55 it wags. -55 is rate mode which there is no heading hold in the tail gyro at that time. So to me, your gyro screen needs to be on channel as gear and Flightmode as switch. Which is switch B, but when you pick Flightmode it’s different. Now go on Brain program. Go to transmitter screen and look where it says gyro. First off the high endpoint of gyro is 128 to get the number correct here. If you see -55 in normal mode, and say 60 in stunt 1 and 50 in stunt 2, you will see it change the number on that screen. If that is all correct, this is linkage related. Could be the Length of pushrod, a shitty tail servo, wrong setting of hz and speed of tail servo. Something like that.
@@CoeShow619 have you even ran into a situation like this before? When doing pirouettes using around 1/2 to 3/4 of the rudder stick (slow to medium speed) the tail pirouettes but it’s almost kind of notchy like the FBL is turning the heli in increments and not a smooth continuous motion. Almost like the finger on a clock ticking minute by minute if that makes sense. Wonder if that would be part of the tag wag Iv been chasing?
@@codyreilander9048 yep. Somewhere you have trim or subtrim in it. The tabs for trim on radio need to be 0 and the subtrim needs to be zero. Again. On the Brain2 wizard transmitter screen, while plugged in, you can see if the inputs are moving or not centered. Your radio could need a calibration if you dropped it. You can calibrate the sticks in the system menu in the radio. Also your radio needs to be at 11ms frame rate or Hybrid, and you need to at least check a second tail servo or find out what the settings actually are. You need to pic that in the tail servo set up in the wizard. There is a lot of stuff it can be. I have no idea how you programmed your radio, if you did every step, if the endpoints are correct on the transmitter screen. The Omp m4 is just fine, and the brain2 is fine, maybe set up a new model in the radio and rebind. Then re check.
