This creation is jaw-dropping. I thought I had pretty much seen every card mech that could be done. I was WRONG! This is brilliant, and so carefully crafted! You asked if we are as meticulous as you were with this. I confess that I do a lot of eyeballing. Your lsticky pad hack is great and I will try to remember it for times when I really need identically placed pieces. For my purposes, though,, your suggestion of using a silicone pad to blot off the excess glue was worth the price of admission! I always have the issue of glue squidging out. Sometimes the most brilliant solutions are the simplest. Thoroughly enjoyed watching a master at work!

This is so brilliant! I do t have the whale in a bottle so I’m not sure what else I would try this on and it’s a little tale to extra for the average card, but it is brilliant! Love how it turned out - I would almost hate to give it away!

Thank you! I've been brainstorming other ways to do this. Some Christmas ornament dies might work or a snow globe. Or you could just basic shapes and find a way to hid the sentiment behind part of your scene--a stamped critter, a die cut tree.... I might have to try some of these. :)

Thank you! I'm thinking about ways you could do this that would be a bit simpler. The mech would be the same, but perhaps the layers and die cutting don't need to be so complex. Hmmm....

I love your ideas. The hidden message mechanism for this card is genius! Girl, your brain must be working all the time. You come up with some really amazing ideas! I have the whale in the bottle die set, so I'm going to have to give this a try. It looks like a lot of work, but it is definitely worth the time and energy that you put into it. By adding a scalloped circle behind, it makes every card so special. ♥️ P.S. LOVE the Life’s a Beach, my favorite saying ever!!
