Agreed! After ICarly I watching his animated show about a spy dog i think? I remember that in an older episode, Sam said “ah crab” which prompted Spencer to gasp. Sam reiterated that she only said “crab”. So Spencer definitely knows a few dirty words. Even though “Damnit” is pretty minor in terms of profanity, Spencer deserves props for holding off on the cussing before Carly became an adult.

I think most of this show is carried simply by the comedic chemistry between Nathen Kress and Jerry Trainor. All the other characters just feel like strangers on screen but Spencer and Freddie still bounce off one another so naturally.
