as a woman who doesn’t ever wear makeup (just don’t really believe in it) but can get the artistic expression aspect of it, i think you’re lovely without makeup and while the makeup adds a fun aspect to your looks i hope you can feel confident barefaced - social media is really awful for reinforcing beauty standards for women imho but it still breaks my heart to see women who don’t feel like they “can” be barefaced online :( it would be cool to see those video ideas you mentioned! anyways not to preach;; this was a really fun vlog and the cupcakes looked so good ugh 😭💖 your bf is hashtag blessed lol that basket was so cute and thoughtful!!

Hey Froggy, I absolutely love your vlogs. So excited to see one out today. 40 minutes just flew by! I also put in a BaB order today - the baby highland cow! I really felt your description of putting on your makeup. When I was younger I refused to leave the house if I “didn’t have my face on” because I felt like I wasn’t socially acceptable as I was. I think age really helps overcome these fears but it’s totally valid to feel that way - your comfort should always come first. You’ll grow out of it, don’t beat yourself up. You are loved for who you are ♥️

I just have to tell you that when I started my youtube channel 4 years ago I had the same fears about makeup and what people thought of me. I have never been good a makeup and it actually stressed me out because I felt like I HAD to look a certain way. 4 years later, I am lucky if I put on mascara lol. I hope you can get there someday because not having to spend an hour on my makeup before filming a video is liberating. I'll fully admit, I have done a few vlogs and I will see myself from an angle I don't normally see myself at and I'm like...I'll just edit that out lol, so I feel you on that.

Although it’s different, cause you have great skin and do it for online purposes, while i have acne and wear it for daily life purposes so i and others don’t see my flaws. The point is, I’ve always been jealous of your flawless skin but never thought to consider you still have insecurities even if they’re different than mine. We’re all just human ♥️☀️

Raven you have really nice skin, you might want to try a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. It gives you that tiny bit of coverage that makes you feel like you aren't bare faced and even things out a little bit without feeling like your face is covered in makeup and it doesn't feel like you can't touch your face. It doesn't get on your clothes etc. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't struggle badly with acne.
