a couple of things I´ve learned in 20 years of independent travel; self catering places almost never have a spatula. Or salt and pepper. Or a bread knife. Also, when you´re out of toilet paper and get caught short out in the middle of nowhere, socks make a handy substitute ;) And yes, much of travel is routine stuff, interspersed with the nice stuff. We have a nice routine to our days travelling now, because I´m an early riser. I go out for a walk, find a cafe and take a coffee, and watch wherever we are waking up. Those early hours are just gold for me. Then I find a bakery and take a couple of coffees and croissants back for her breakfast.

OMG 😂😂 gonna have to keep this in mind! My handbag always ends up being stuffed to the brim with random bits of tissue and toilet paper just in case Okay, this might have to be our new routine for 2024 We love getting out and about early morning! Especially somewhere super touristy like Rome - the city feels so different at 6am vs 3pm

I really enjoyed this candid type of video and surprisingly the "nothingness" parts are still entertaining. It's also pretty cool to see you guys talking about the unorthodox plan on filming the food tour and then seeing now how it's done really well with views!

Hi, guys. I´m so happy you are enjoying my beautiful city so much. If you can visit a neighborhood not many tourist visit and is sooooo beautiful you can go to Devoto (it´s just 10 to 15 minutos from where you are staying in Villa Urquiza). There´s a lot of restaurants, cafés, amazing green spaces and it´s very peaceful. If you´d like to know a little bit more about it, I´m more than happy to be of any help. Well, thanks for your videos, it helps people like me to value my beautiful city. Bye.

Activa los subtitulos en ingles y en la tuerca de youtube pone que te los traduzca en español. No es perfecto pero si no sabes absolutamente nada de ingles te va a ayudar.

You can visit the district of Parque Chas ... Is five minutes walking from Olazabal y Trinuvirato. Is a beatiful place with houses from 1920s, circular streets and a fountain

Loved this video so much. For those who have been following you all along (even if I had to binge to get there) its genuinely interesting to "fill in the gaps" as it were with vids like this. NOT boring at all. Would you even consider a "prologue" explanation as to your initial inspo to hit the road last year?

NEVER walk like that in argentina like in 26:33 that camera is crazy expensive. all electronics are crazy expensive in argentina like a simple iPhone. That tourist places like Caminito are full of "pungas" that is people that snatch things of your hand and run. They are not aggressive robberies, but they snatch expensive things of tourist hands. That camera should be 100% with a belt to the neck, never on a single hand while looking to the other side. Just a bit of precaution is better than loss a expensive camera or phone and have your trip ruined.
