Bishop Vann was our Bishop in Fort Worth, and get this interesting fact: The Fort Worth Diocese is 98 Parishes, covering 28 Counties, 28,000 square miles, and has about 800,000 in the Diocese; Orange, California Diocese has approx. the same number of Catholics, 800,000, BUT ALL in ONE COUNTY! Difference is Bishop Vann can motor around the one county, and see his "flock," but here in Texas, he was over TWENTY-EIGHT counties and 28,000 sq. miles----WOW! Alot less travel, same number of people concentrated. I guess we have the Wide-Open Spaces.......I guess it makes Bishop Vann's life a tad easier or at least, less travel time.

What happened to Bishop Vann? He isn't the same person anymore.
