Paige, you've really been coming through for us with these trips. Thank you so much for sharing. Please thank Dominique for us for being such a pleasurable human and tour guide 😊
I hope you’ve enjoyed York, the both of you. Its quite a historical city and very beautiful to live in, I have moved here from London and absolutely love it myself. Bettys tea room , the queue is always long, but it’s worth it. Did you enjoy the food at Bills? It’s quite nice food, been a few times. The great thing is Leeds is only a stone throw away from York and a lot of people commute for work on a daily basis. Hope you’ve grabbed yourself some tasty Yorkshire tea lol. Enjoy your journey back. ❤️
I plan on doing my masters in York, so I tend to watch every single vlog about York. Hahah I really enjoyed your video. York looks so stunning to me! It is a shame you didn’t go to The Shambles or the Jorvik Viking Center.
Such a lovely vid, thank you for sharing!!! Your friend Dominique, is a beautiful, poised and intelligent Queen, such a lovely young lady. That English proverb 'Birds of a feather flock together', holds true, as you and Dom gel well together. Two amazing Queens. Best wishes dear Paige and keep on shining brilliantly. Tell Mama she did real good raising you:) xx
I visited in August 2019 and stayed for two days. Such an enchanting town right up there with Bath for me. She did not take you to the Shambles? That's the highlight of York...
Paige I haven't seen you since forever! Lol! Love your Yorkshire Pudding and your northern tour this summer! I used to have a manager from York. The accent is really friendly. Yet another awesome video with my amazing online dosage of popping the Paige pill- side effects include happiness, fun and beauty. 💜💜💜💜
The History of York is the History of England. It was the capital for the Romans then known as Eboracum later the Vikings took over and started building the city walls, they called if Jorvik. For many years it was the centre of the railway system and also the Chocolate centre of Europe.
Fantastic day trip. Really enjoy these type of videos. So many points of interest. Plus there is a mischievous part of me that enjoy watching people's reaction to seeing a person of color. Some folks can't wait to talk with you and have an exchange of perspectives. Very cool.
Always wanted to go to York, it looks pretty! Also, I’m sure you knew this already but New York, previously named New Amsterdam, was taken over by the British and named New York because the guy leading the mission was the Duke of York! I only recently learned about it being New Amsterdam initially 😂
Another great vid Paige!! I soooo 💞💞💞💞 these types of vids where you are exploring old towns & villages!! And Dominque is sooooo FUN!!! Def my fav accent!!😊😊😊
That was so interesting and cool. York is like a proper little medieval town. It was very picturesque. It's nice to know that other regions of the UK are less reserved than London and much friendlier. Love your Travelodges featuring smaller towns around the UK.❤
Hi! Will you do an Epping day? Thinking of moving there since it’s about 45 min to downtown & close to the ancient forest 🌳:) not finding too many living in Epping vlogs….a thought!
York is a beautiful place. I remember going in York Minster years ago when on a day trip there & it was free to go in then! But I always remember how as well as being absolutely charming architecturally it felt so calming and peaceful and good for your soul to be in there and say a prayer. I ordered a cake from the online Bettys tearoom for my sons birthday and it was delicious.x
@@PaigeMariah Some helpful Yorkshire phrases to dazzle Dominique: "Na then (said more like 'thin'), duck" - use as a hello. Can also be interchanged with "Ey yup, Duck". Also, hit her with a good old "Ta rah!" as a good bye. Just a couple of my favorites!
