I hope that your followers learn what I consider to be the most important lesson from your videos - Less is so much more. Colombia has taught me that the basics of life are all that I need to live a rich, rewarding and happy life.
Nice concrete road. Thanks for the historical dog update. You cooking? Things have changed😄 Bananas DO taste better than those available in the U.S. Much more flavorful!
yes the road here is much nicer than to the school!! ugh.. I am cooking a little.. I am so bad at it thought haha!! yesss the bananas are sooo good here... and I am up to my eyeballs in them!
Thanks for sharing the info with us. I’m interested in seeing the entire complete coffee process as you do it so I’ll look forward to the next update on the roasting. Enjoy!
A few preguntas! How do you sharpen the machete? Do you have more than one? Are the heavy? How long did it take you to get good with it? I have an ice ale. After watching this, I want to use a machete, hahah. Loved spending the day with you!! Thanks for these videos. I'm getting a better sense of the true tropics. Great job, hermana.
I think with a knife sharpener, I have never done it! We have 3 or 4 machetes! No they are not heavy. They are easy to use, so I guess it was natural to learn to use! haha thanks! I love using the machete, I tell my sister she needs one for her garden!! thank you!
@@SaraBurdick you'll need to take the top off so the heat can escape and doesn't get too high and add an extension that gives the beans room to pop up without popping out over the side. A piece of rolled construction paper works. Then just shake the popper so the beans move around while roasting.
