I stayed at the Pop Century Resort for two nights and it was amazing. I stayed at the 1960s area. The hippy dippy pool was cozy. I love Disney and it’s the most happiest and magical place on earth. I went to Disney for two nights and one day this week.

The same thinks happened to my friend and I when we stayed there! We heard no knock and the the door would of opened if we didn’t bolt it. It was indeed housekeeping but it was nowhere near check out time and they didn’t knock.

on my last disney trip, i stayed at pop century. my mom had a scooter because she just had knee surgery so at like 11 pm my cousin and i took the scooter over to art of animation and just explored for about 3 or 4 hours. absolutely gorgeous. i liked it better than pop

Disney does daily security checks and will typically just enter , it gives me so much anxiety because if we are in our room during the day it’s for a shower or my toddlers naps

Emily is always a morning fix for me. Glad you had a great morning at Pop Century. The room looks awesome! The breakfast selections are goals, especially the Mickey Waffles. Maybe in your next Staycation, you should do Port Orleans: French Quarter. I love the Riverside but never did the French Quarter. Can’t wait to see more like this after graduation.

OMG you should definitely do more staycations ! I would stay at port Orleans riverside that’s where I stayed I just got back from my trip on 10 April ! I went on a solo trip in February and stayed at the POP. It was safe and so much fun. I’m going back in in November. Maybe with a friend…maybe not.

This resort is special to me because when before starting my DCP my mom, aunt and me stayed here so I could have one last disney trip as a guest before I started working!

My favorite Disney resort! It’s not the prettiest or nicest, but it’s an amazing value and it takes me back to my childhood.

I stayed at the riviera last time I was there (my family is DVC) and I LOVED it!! Definitely gonna stay there again one day :)

I just turned 25 and I totally get the struggles of adulthood and friendship! You really do have to get used to being your own bestie. I'm married, but my husband and I only have one day per week off together so we use our "solo" day off to go on our own little adventures. It's really fun and definitely has led me to build a new layer of confidence.

You have always inspired me to spend some timeline with myself and try to explore who I am as a person, without having friends around me all the time and needing friends to make things fun when I could just go out and do it myself. I am proud to say that this year for Eid (which is a holiday Muslims celebrate after a whole month of fasting) that on the third day I am going to take myself out and do somethings that I never thought I'd do alone. Even though the whole day is going to compose of small things, at least they are fun for me. What I mean to say in this large large paragraph, LOL, is that you are an inspiration to all, Emily. You tell us that we bring the best part of ourselves when we are alone. + I would LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE to see you stay at Arts of Amination next. I stayed there once before my graduation in 2018 and it was such a good and fun time, espically with the themes. We stayed at the Lion King section. But yes, please do Art of Amination next and maaaaaaybe The Rivera or French Quarter? All the best in the future and thank you for everything that you do for us!

Housekeeping is sketchy. I stayed at Riverside and housekeeping came while I was taking a nap, answered the door, told her I didn’t need housekeeping and she still tried to come in. I just wanted a mid day nap.

So you’re not alone, I’ve had house keeping open the door several times on me. There was one specific time I was just laying in bed and thankfully I had the lock on and they just opened the door and it got stopped then they closed it and walked away. This is even with the do not disturb sign on the door every single time. This is even during the days that’s not even close to check out. I always just think thank god I wasn’t changing

Last trip we took a day to resort hop. It was SO much fun. I had more fun doing that than our Magic Kingdom day. Also solo trips are the best because you can take your time and do what you want when you want.
