I will never forget when me and my husband went to Disney World for our honeymoon, we had Mickey and Minnie groom and bride hats. And we were walking around one of the stores and a cast member asked if we were going to embroider the back of our hats. We told him no we were not, and he said we HAD TO! So he took our hats and had them embroidered for free they were beautiful!!! He was so kind, and it was all just so magical!!!

FYI they are not mini fridges, they are beverage coolers, they will not keep milk or deli meat cold enough. If you have medicine and you need a refrigerator, you can request one.

“Because I am an adult, by myself” I wish we could see “Emma and Quincy every playground in WDW challenge” 😂 just the two of them going around and going down 1 slide at every playground on property! Seriously it would be cool to get a Playground ranking. I have a 6 year old and he loves playgrounds. He loved the one in Epcot near GotG and he loved the one in MK near the Pooh ride. 😊

Fun video. When I stayed at French Quarter, the food court had a microwave that we used to heat up leftovers which was helpful. Always bring Ziplock bags, large and small for taking your own snacks or keeping leftovers from restaurants. Great to have on hand if family is getting hungry but you're waiting in a line. Fun free things to do are visit other resorts, especially at the holidays and ride the Skyliner. Great job Emma!

A video idea (as my family and I did this a few months ago): could you make a video showing a day at disneyworld WITHOUT a park ticket. Like we rode the skyliner/monorail, explored hotels. Show an option even as a day waiting for an afternoon/evening flight.

The All Star resorts have microwaves available in the food court areas. Don’t be too proud to use them! Great for warming up leftovers.

I'm a fan of riding the monorail. I went to Disney Springs for a day with a friend and after we saw what we wanted there, we took a bus to Contemporary and rode a loop on the monorail and it was amazing! I think I could do a whole day just riding Disney transportation and seeing everything that way.

We loved resort hopping and watching Magic Kingdom Fireworks in a hammock on the beach at the Polynesian! Great budget friendly evening.

My two favorite ways to spend time, not money at Walt Disney World... 1. When at the resort: Lounging on a balcony, doing crossword puzzles (I brought from home), soaking in the sun. 2. When at the parks: People watching. Not judging, just casually observing people... if you see someone wearing something from the state you live in, you can try to strike up a conversation. People watching often leads to people conversation and that's part of the magic... making new friends. Fun video chockful of great ideas! :)

You could also go to the Disney character outlet and get pins and other merchandise at reasonable prices. Still Disney, just last seasons things

Great video, Emma. We really enjoy resort hopping and riding the Disney transportation. We have done long weekends and spent time at Disney Springs and we resort hopped and did things, although not free, like rent bikes and enjoyed exploring the beautiful resorts. Not totally free, but much less expensive than park days.

Loved the video I know this was a free things video and was very informative. Would love to see some of the resorts paid activities. Can you still paint and glaze a castle. Tie dye a shirt or bag. So many fun things around Disney. What good food did your husband ear while you ate dinner.

Love the trex tip, I never knew!! I make a food reservation somewhere low key like Kona cafe and can resort hop from there. Also- the Disney outlet is a great place to get a couple pins for a couple dollars for trading!

Please don’t encourage people to buy the Disney pins in bulk online. 99% of the time they are counterfeit and it only adds to the problem when pin trading real pins. Love everything else though!

I can spend a day with Disney Transportation. One day I visited all the resorts i could. I took transportation to a resort and got a resort map, and checked out the lobby. Once i found a spot at the TTC and sat for a few hours watching the monorails. And once i got on a bus and stayed on the bus. I went to the park, then whatever resort it was going to, then whatever park.

Lots of new ideas from the video! The campfire would be a good tradition start during the cold winter nights. Where can we find a list of locations to roast marshmallows at WDW? We will be staying at Key West and the Grand later this year.

Moderate and Deluxe Resorts have campfires so you'll be able to roast marshmallows at Old Key West and Grand Floridian! Have fun!!

Love the idea of this video. But I have to say that window shopping is deadly for the $0 budget goal. Fun to know that Emma was able to spend some time with SO while at work. Resort touring is a neat idea. I thought for sure the video was about being in the parks though.

Love this type of info! I would really appreciate a video about park hoping- we have never parked hopped before and we will be going with our young kids this summer. We also aren’t getting a car. I would love to know how/when/how long it takes to do that kind of thing. Thanks for letting me live vicariously when I’m far away!!

The busses take way longer than people expect. My husband and I always rent a car but we decided to try the Disney transportation out as an experiment. We were at Caribbean Beach. Because the resort is so big, we waited for over 45 minutes to get on a bus since they were all full from previous stops. Also at night drop off, we ended up walking 20 minutes back to the main house before another 10 minutes back to the room. We took the boat down to Pleasure Island (now Disney Springs). To get back from Pleasure Island you have to take a bus. We were tired before midnight and boarded a bus going back to CB at 11:30pm. The bus didn't leave for 45 minutes. We didn't get back to our room until 1 am. For us, we decided that we would always rent a car and be able to go door to door as much as possible. Saved so much time for us.

Emma! You are just lovely as always! I think you should also do the opposite of this video, see how much you can spend in Disney in one day!! Stay Club Level, take Minnie Vans, buy Genie plus and all the fancy rides! Enjoy fireworks dessert parties, the fanciest restaurants and and lavish experiences and upgrades everywhere possible!! Let’s see how much you can spend in 24 hours!! Disney like a Diva!!! You can call it “Treat Yo Self in Disney!” Also, buy a Loungefly Backpack and matching ears, a spirit jersey, and other high ticket Disney favorite Souvenirs!! (Also, can I come too! 😉)

I'm not sure about the value resorts but most of the moderate and deluxe resorts have Microwave's in the food court area. I love to resort hop, even after going for over 40 years, seeing every resort and staying at 90% of them, I still resort hop every trip. I don't make a day out of it, but toward the end of my trip when I'm just sort of tired of the parks, I'll go to the bus stop and go to just a certain area and hop on the first resort bus to come. Or if I'm at MK, I'll boat over to Poly or GF or WL and just explore those. I love walking around the grounds of all of them, yes the insides are often very pretty but the grounds at every one are always fun. Back in the before times, at least at the Deluxe resorts, they would give you free popcorn and water at the movie under the stars. They don't that now.

What are some tips for a land and sea trip. Staying at a Disney resort and doing a few park days before heading to Port Canaveral for a 4 day cruise. Should I rent a car or use ride share. Any tips would be appreciated

If you're cruising with Disney Cruise Lines I think they provide buses from the resort to the ship. Most cruise lines have transfers to / from the airport, so you just have to go to the airport, not all the way to the port.

If you prepay for everything it’s technically not spending money there. You would need the quick service dining plan though because otherwyse you would have to tip.

For pin trading, fake or counterfeit pins cannot be traded in Disney. (Just imagine someone collecting pins and getting stuck with a fake pin.)

Resort amenities are for resort guest-not free, you should not offer resort amenities to non resort guest.

The fridges even in the Polynesian are very small and not very cold !! I would not trust any food in them more than overnight ! Our water stayed chilled. But not cold !! I saw someone else mention they are “ chillers” I think not fridges( like in DVC rooms etc ) And taking a child to WDW and telling them they can have nothing is ….. I saw two little girls w/their mom when we were there last month in a shop - they were may 4&5 - they couldn’t understand why they couldn’t have what all the other kids were getting @ the time - no temper tantrum just sad little girls - I really wanted to buy the items ( stuffies ) and gave a cast member give them to them from a friend - but didn’t think that would be right either …. It is easier as an adult but …..
