If you are ever in New York again and want to take an Amtrak train, you might want to consider the Maple Leaf. This train connects New York with Toronto, and you could consider doing videos from the Greater Toronto Area. From there, you could possibly head back home to BC or take a VIA train eastbound towards Quebec City or even the Maritmes.
I live in NYC and still found your visit fun to watch, I'm more a Midtown tour guide to my out of state friends. Bryant Park and higher. Thanks for posting
Another very enjoyable travel tour Chloe. Although by the end of your video I was starting to call the elevated walkway, "the Sky Highline" Oh well, I suppose that works. :-) Enjoy a cup of coffee on me during your next adventure.
Girl, you deserve 2M subscribers, I hope they build quickly for you. I love your manner and delivery. Keep it up, I'm enjoying this way more than I ever did Casey Niestat!
Aww thank you!! Haha 2 million would be lovely, but I think 6,500 is even a heck of a lot of people!! Thanks so much for the comment - glad you are enjoying the videos!!
I love how you always find the quirky. I think I'd be scared to travel in NYC by myself.....but Ive thoroughly enjoyed watching you do so.....thanks for taking me along for the ride.
Aw thanks for watching! Glad it felt like you were traveling there too! I felt very at ease being in nyc alone - there is so much to do, and lots of others also on their own. It definitely takes some getting used to though (solo travel).
You discovered alot of new things in NY for those of us who didnt know they existed. I loved the doggie cafe, so adorable. You are wonderful to watch and to listen to, the Travel Channel should hire you and send you all over the world and have you tell us all about the travels. Be safe and continue to do what you do.
You've a lovely way of doing your commentary. One of my favorite points. I enjoy good travel, etc. vids and your variety speaks to my millennial soul. 😊 Also, I really appreciate the finances break down/advise. So thanks on that. I will continue exploring your videos.
She says style of the bathrooms at Chelsea market is "fancy," but it looks standard for anyone who posts bathroom selfies on the fashion message boards and clothing reviews
Hello By chance can you tell much your Train trip I have been thinking of doing it solo once I get my new legs ( I'm a Veteran Double Amputee do you know if they accommodate inconvenience people??😂
Of course - it was $1900 usd for the entire journey - I am fairly certain they did have a wheelchair accessible room down the hall from my room!! I hope you are able to experience this one day :)
I grew up near Coney Island and still live in NY and still got a kick out of your visit to my town. Fun fact: when you were on the high/sky line you briefly glanced by a rusted old arch by pier 54. That’s all that’s left of the old pier 54 building, demolished in the early 90s. That’s where the titanic would have docked had she completed her voyage.
Not you posting about the Friends apartments the day after Chandler Bing passes away 😭😭 R.I.P. Matthew Perry. On the other hand, what a fun video, loved the speak easy bar tour! ❤
If you love Greenwich Village and Williamsburg, HIGHLY recommend Brooklyn Heights. IMHO, better than Dumbo and the other two neighborhoods I mentioned! Great views, good coffee shops, and not touristy.
Loved watching this 😊 Just over a month until I get to go back to NYC for my 5th visit, can't wait to return to one of my favourite cities. Fun fact I always stay in the same place which is in Long Island City over in Queens. So chilled and so convenient for getting to both JFK airport and midtown Manhattan
Ooooh I’ve only ever visited Long Island once before! I’ve noticed the hotels and prices are great over there! Perhaps I shall try it again next time 😁 thanks for watching!!
This is the best video I have ever watched on NYC and you gave me so many ideas of where to stay and what to do. Honestly, before this video, I have very little interest in visiting NYC. Than you. I can’t wait to see your channel continue to grow and you explore more places! I love your channel, how humble, & grateful you are. and your editing skills are amazing!
Oh wow what a compliment haha! This was so lovely to read - I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed the vid and that it even made you want to visit yourself!!! Thank you!!!
Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Columbia University, Coney Island/The Cyclone, Theater, Museums (so many to choose from), Radio City Music Hall, Prospect Park, The Intrepid (a battle ship museum that also has one of the Concords!), The Ikea Boat (a free boat ride around Manhattan that takes you to Ikea in Brooklyn), South Street Seaport, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho, Art Galleries, Lincoln Center.... so many other things to do in NYC that are free or nearly free!!!
