You should turn off that mirror effect on your front facing camera. It's quite annoying.

I literally sold my steam deck the day after I revived my GPD win mini... I had no idea how much of a hunk of junk my steam bag was until I got the GPD win mini

I took mine on a longish vacation where I didn't plan to do any work. It was compact and light. Functional for the occasional typed email though it was a bit of a struggle to fill in an excel table. I brought along a foldable mouse (myAir) which made it easier. I didn't play anything on it until waiting for boarding the return flight (Mr Driller, Dreamcast, EmuDeck).

Motion assistant is great once you learn how to use it. It's light weight, just works, and doesn't ever freeze up unlike aya's control software. There is virtually no point in going higher then 20w on the 7840u. You will be looking at almost no gain in fps. Also do not change the refresh rate from 120 to 60. There is only a .3w difference in power. Instead use MA to limit game fps to either 30, 40, or 60 given all those numbers divide into 120. And leave auto tdp on. To di that select optimize gpu and then select float. Also make sure MA is selected to start at start up minimized and leave the fan curve on. The reason its so loud without MA is because the fan doesn't know what to do. MA has to be on. If you really want a prettier set up sbc's control panel is getting an update soon that allows the fan curve to work and is much lighter weight then his first program. Join his dis to the cord to get more info.

Bought one also. But im overall chinese umpc lover. Use handheld companion software. Youll have autotdp, EPP and other stuff that you can setup once and get more battery life. Yeah all the handhelds im using with max 18W TDP because its a handheld and im using them mostly on the go. Also i had a small episode with steam deck. As i love the easy of use, the compatibility and lack of power throwed me away.
