I'm so glad your birthday was amazing and you were happy by the end of the night 🥹 and honestly u r so right, birthdays are to celebrate your life so you should not be afraid to spend it with yourself! Plus you know u r so strong b/c you're willing to be vulnerable - as you said, you may feel weak, but we all see that as strength. The first year or so after college is so hard - so don't be too hard on yourself most people aren't living their dream lives at our age but you are killing it uploading this on time 😆

I felt this on a spiritual level. The first bday after I graduated was during the Rona. I completely understood that I can’t go out w my friends but as an extrovert I couldn’t help but feel sad and every time someone wished me I cried for 20 min. The reason why you cry when you speak about how you’re feeling is because you’ve been holding it all in for so long that once someone hears you or you vent it, it causes all the feelings you’ve suppressed to the surface. Crying is a sign of strength. You are allowed to cry and be open about how you feel. You have a voice and we care ❤
