I have that blue Carnaval bowl and I have always known it isn't worth much, but it is so sentimental to me. My mom and I spotted this Carnaval glassware in a drug store one day when I was young. We thought it was so pretty and bought it. We had the best day after that, going out to lunch, shopping, going to a nursery and such. I just remember we laughed a lot and had so much fun. Mom is gone now, but it is nice to have that bowl which reminds me of that one great day we had together.

I have 3 of those bowls and have been looking for the blue one. They go for about $30 here and I think that's a bit much but I do hope I will find it in the wild as they say. Glad you have good memories of your mom. I lost both my parents this year and I'm still in shock!

@@tigermoon44 I'm so sorry for your loss. My parents passed away farther apart, my dad when I was young and my mom later on. It's never easy, and my thoughts are with you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you come across the blue bowl. How cool that you have those three other ones though. :)

If I hadn't found your channel, I would still be hiding out in my house and not going anywhere...not for fear of the Rona, but for fear of the muzzle. The one time I ventured out in mandated mask territory, it was to go to the eye doctor. I had a panic attack. I felt humiliated, vulnerable...because I read lips due to being hard of hearing and because she was wearing a mask, I couldn't...also, the steam made my glasses fog up and I am extremely poor sighted so taking them off was not an option. All my faculties that I rely so heavily on to see and hear were compromised. After 6 months of being a hermit, I found your channel and started binge watching...the clinks and clanks of the dishes and the crinkling of the plastic bags triggered a feeling I had forgotten...the thrill of the hunt. I've always been a thrifter...not a seller, but a finder and a squirreler-awayer. With this channel, I found a kindred spirit and a sense of camaraderie and I overcame my aversion to the muzzle and ventured out. I have rediscovered my love of thrifting. It's a form of meditation for me. Love and blessings from Nova Scotia.

The little grassy woven piece at 15:16 looks like a miniature skep. Skeps were one of the earliest man-made bee-keeping houses. Made from straw/wicker, and generally in a bell or cone shape, they were easy to make and replace after harvesting the honey. Reproduction or ornamental skeps are popular with bee keepers, as a reminder of the heritage of man's relationship with honey bees.

I love that entire white shelf!!! I live in a farmhouse (a real one from the 1800's) and have lived here before "farmhouses" were all the rage! - almost 20 years now. But, I decorate with all white, milk glass, etc. I was swooning over that white shelf!

Good Morning! Your Americana folk art tray looked like a Charles Wysocki piece. He was really popular in the 90s, but may be having a resurrgence. Also, that woven piece look like a beeskeep. Entirely decorative. Maybe from a floral shop.

That lamp was so cute wish you would have grabbed it. You could put an electric cord through the hole in the glass bowl and have little lights in the bowl. I love having lights in glass but you always have to deal with the cord and trying to hide it over the side. When I saw that I thought what a great idea but I am a fan of royal blue it is suppose to vibrate with the highest energy frequency. Once again enjoyed all your hard work that goes into your videos and your graceful personality. Can't wait to come visit your shop. Depending on quality and if damaged the fake cake would be a fun piece in your booth to draw people in.(: fake food is always appealing and there are always people looking for pieces to display on their buffets or prop companies buying for staging.

Hi Jos, I have to tell you I found my first piece of Mccoy today. Of corse I bought it. It is a little wishing well planter . Bottom is forest green and the upper part is beige/ light brown . I love it . perfect for small spider plant . I pd 23.00 Canadian . Not the best price but I found it in the wild and had to have it .

My Goodwill that I frequent the most is nasty. Trash always in the cart. My phone is messed up and I know I need a new one. My family will call when they know I’m in a store and for the 17th time I will say, “My phone is messed up. I have to put it on speaker phone. I’m in a store!”

I've enjoyed your Goodwill outings. Your programs have helped me out alot dealing with the current issues. I took my 8 yr. Old granddaughter to the Goodwill. I told her about signed pieces of artwork. It was her first trip to the Goodwill. She scored and found a signed piece of artwork. It was a picture of a kitty playing in a flower bed. I use my clothing steamer to release packing tape off of painted surfaces. Works great, no damage at all.

Cyd in MD. The little woven basket with the handle is a decorative bee skep. It was an early way to keep bees. I have bought many larger ones over the years. They are great to hide features better hidden in your yard or garden.

The black pottery bowl at about 7:10 looks like Barro Negro. It’s a form of Mexican pottery. Some pieces are older, but it is produced to this day. There are a few artists to keep an eye out for, like Don Juventino who passed in 1978, his wife Doña Rosa who passed in 1980, their son Valente Nieto who passed in 2010, and Carlomagno Pedro Martinez who is a sculptor from San Bartolo Coyotepec born August 17, 1965.

Had someone on a business call via speaker phone at hobby lobby today! Oy! I have a fountain, it's plastic, but the bowl is like that blue bowl with the hole. The pump hose goes through the hole and seals with gaskets

I was shouting at my screen when you found a Poultry in Motion Rooster! They can be worth between $40 and $300!! Then you said he was damaged but darned if I could see it on the screen. They are worth it if you can find them. At 13:35 those were Christmas candles from the 1970's. We used to sell them as part of the fundraiser kit we had for Boy Scouts back then. I like the Carnival glass purple console bowl. I have had more luck selling the bowls than the pitchers. The bowls have more uses and I use purple in my Halloween decor.

That wicker lid is a bee hive, you can put honey bees glue to the outside and use it in a country kitchen or a weather for fall, spring and even winter decorations. Or in a fairy setting. Hope that help. Peace. Hope you have a wonderful time building your miniature set.

That blue bowl with the hole in it that was in the bin is part of one of those fogging home decor things from the early 2000s. Sat on a base with a little color changing pump that went in the bottom submerged in water and the cord went through the hole. It spilled colored fogg out of it. My husband loved that thing..lol

Your "woven thing" seems to be a decorative skep. I can't tell from the video, but they made those in the 90's from resin as table decorations. If yours is actually made of straw, it may be earlier but probably just decor.

Yesterday I was in the same predicament with an LE Smith Moon and stars amberina Salt shaker, I searched and searched for the pepper, but couldn't find it so I just bought the one salt shaker for .50cents thinking maybe someone doesn't like pepper lol
