1. Sir How to identify particular brood stock line at the PL stages (when it see the vannamei seed ) in hatcheries and many hatcheries will not give exact information thier broodstock lines. 2. excellent orientation for the Farmers, who can understand the Broodstock Lines and their traits, thus they can take the informed decisions based on their pond geographical location, climatic conditions etc., for example Farmer can go for Growth based lines who are dependent on Bore-water culture because there is not much problem with waterborne pathogens. Likewise Creek-based or Open water based Farmers can prefer Hardy / resistance lines because they have more challenge with waterborne pathogens. some Farmers initially use creek water, later on they use Bore water after stocking of the seed, such farmers can choose Balanced lines.

Thanks for information.. Before going to take pond for lease, what are the things need to check, whether that pond will more suitable for culture or not. For better growth and survival from pond prospective. Please suggest me.
