I might be a metal head, but even I love the Spice Girls. PROUD to say I am a fan. These ladies have talent. They always have and they always will. Doesn't matter how many years go by.
I think that all the girls are so different in their singing, style, and appearance. I think that they are all so beautiful in their own way. Difference is the beauty in life. I wouldn't take one single Spice Girl out. I loved them all and they were a huge part of my childhood. :) Still remember the music, movies, toys, and even the candy! :D
That's how they made it work, "uniqueness" was their winning card. They had 5 very different vocal tones, personalities, looks. Each of them had something unique to offer and they all compensated each other. I love them all too even though I do have a fave.
Victoria did good on the chorus and her solo! If u listen to the track it’s her and Emma who lead the chorus. But this one u can clearly hear her as her mic is usually turned off or low lol
The first time I’ve ever heard an entire song of theirs performed live with no backing tracks. Though it’s rough around the edges, it’s so much more beautiful and emotional than when they play prerecorded tracks or backing vocals.
Love the fact that Victoria's voice was the loudest or the lead in the chorus. She sounds great in her solo part too (as always). Well they all are (were). XD
I almost forgot about how great Mel C is! She's so in pocket of the music, workin everything she has, an amazing performer, powerful vocals and has such a tough yet sweet girl power image!! workkkk 03:44 LIKE IF YOU AGREE!!
Victoria sang Mein Herr from Cabaret for her audition, which is musical theatre - THAT was Victoria's training. Mel B was primarily a dancer, but Mel C was a triple threat, being a proficient singer, gymnast AND dancer, having studied ballet.
@@imalwaysrightIt's amazing that you're so stupid that you don't know how to distinguish a "playback" from a "mixed audio" from a "live audio". Well, I tell you that the Wembley and Istanbul concerts were dubbed for home video and this feat by Too Much is a true showcase of their voices.
If only Victoria read the comments about her on RU-vid videos, like this one, I'm pretty sure she'd get back on reunion tour with the other girls. Gotta love posh!
Uuuffff this is one of their best songs, if not the best. I bet my old cassette of this album is almost transparent in this track. In this performance I only missed the trumpet solo, but just getting to see them live pays it all. Loved the girls in the 90s, this video just brought everything back ❤ Together they are awesome!
I always found the comments about Victoria's vocal abilities strange. Geri was the one who couldn't sing. It's just that Mel B & C and Emma all were better singers but Victoria could definitely sing better than the ex-Disney stars currently on the charts (Geri, not so much).
im a 33 year old male born in 1990 - i remember the spice girls being the biggest thing in my earliest memories of the world. and to this day im not ashamed to admit i think they're great! good songs, cool down-to-earth girls, iconic
Im watching this at 2:38am and remembering when my dad would blare this album through the house. I was 7. And coming back to this I cannot stand the feelings I have for Mel C now that I'm older. Good lord I would give her all my French fries she doesn't even have to ask......
MELANIE C - By far ONE of the most talented and skilled female singers of all time and definitely THE "TALENT SPICE" and the hottest out of all of them 😍😍😍😎😎😎
she has the best voice agreed, but such a boyish figure. I guess that makes her a good role model for young girls dealing with body image issues, she doesn't have tits the size of Mars, and clearly has stuck two fingers up to peer pressures of triple HHH'S
Ernie Bert watch the Behind the Music special. Unfortunately, Mel C and Victoria both were anorexic and Geri was bulimic in the late 90s and early 2000.
This is my favorite performance of the SG. My vcr was tired of me and My constant rewind. I liked all the girls, but for me, there was something about Geri Halliwell that was so special and beautiful. I'm a 90's girl from Peru. I love the Spice Girls.
I remember in my 2nd Grade my Dad bought me SPICE cassette tape and gave it to me when I went back home from school. Best gift ever!!! I'm a fan 😍 from the Philippines and still listening to their songs.
I was front row at their The Return Of The Spice Girls AKA The Greatest Hits Tour on Feb 22, 2008 with all 5 ladies & it was such an incredible show & each girl sang 1 of their songs from their solo albums.
my forever favorite woman and spice girl Mel C :D i love her so pretty much. :) as well as Mel B Emma and Geri. these four women are so great and true people:)
Great song. Here performed in late January 1998 actually in Dublin, Ireland (not in the USA) where they were rehearsing for the Spiceworld Tour. Tour would start one month later, 24th February, just in Dublin.
a wonderful line-up at 3:11 ... magnificent girls, what else to be added. btw. at this time, guitar playing Paul Gendler sure didn't think he would have been lead guitarist for Mel C during her future solo career, through 17 years since summer 1999... fantastic.
it pisses me off when people say they cant sing. this proves u wrong. u don't have to be mariah carey to be considered a singer. Victoria is a trained Oprah singer and so is Mel B. when your in a group with four other people each voice when sung separately has to sound different enough to distinguish which member of the group is taking the lead.. each voice has so much character in this group like Geri's voice i love it. Mel C's voice is amazing, very unique tone, Emma's was sweet as she is :)
