Golden paints:
green gold, nickel azo gold, teal, phthalo blue, titanium white, phthalo green
300 gsm paper
Elko Drawing Paper
Colour shaper tool
Old credit card or mark making tools
Dry Point needle or anything pointy!
Collage papers, eg old gelli prints on tissue paper
Acrylic matt medium
Paintbrush

Collagraphy is a really versatile printing process in which a textured plate is inked up and put through a press. Different textures hold varying amounts. of ink and print different tones. Anything with a low relief texture can be stuck down and used: wallpaper, leaves, fabrics, tapes and threads etc

Another excellent demo, it demonstrates beautifully how important it is to keep going. When you started to add the second round of collage , man oh man it took flight. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you. I think I was quite lucky this time. Some of these collage papers have been sitting in the box for years, glad I didn’t bin them… never throw anything away 😅

Hi, really enjoyed this and it was very useful to follow your process. I do use collage in my work. The problem is that the use never matches the supply and the collage colour coded mountain grows. Must try harder! Best R
