Peculiarity of India is that it is the producer for most of the Eastern spices,and holds number one position though most spices would have originated from other parts of the world centuries back.And most of the Indian spices ate grown in the tiny state of KERALA which was the entry point for most of spices to India from abroad.Counyries like Vietnam has overgrown Indian spices cultivation only during the last 40 years and became a real competitor in many fields of spices export. BUT .INDIAN DPICES HAVE BETTER QUALITY and spices Board of India is doing a lot to develop spice cultivation. But this video has omitted Kerala.only in the First MAP and that would have made entire India as spice growing!
