((VIEWERS LISTEN TO VIDEO BEFORE READING BEYOND THIS POINT)) The script got me thinking: If the gilded cage really makes listener unhappy, play the long game and submit. Live lavishly. Make him believe you're just as happy as he is, and meanwhile, get to know everything you don't. Complete layout of the castle and exits. The castle routines. Where/when security is lax. Etc. Bide your time and formulate a plan. It's going to take months, maybe years... but someday there will be an opportune moment. (By then, you'll either actually be happy/complacent/content with the life you lead or still convinced you'd rather have freedom.) However, you'll only get one chance. Capture would mean he would never trust you again after all that. ...and you'd probably have chains the rest of your life, if not worse. Is it worth the risk? If you succeed, you'd likely have to flee the lands or live on the run forever. So much for comfort. The Duke isn't the sort to give up and I'd imagine he wouldn't take that betrayal lightly. Anyway, enough of my rant. ^^;

@@VoG_Persona Well in asmr stories lik this, i lik to imagine and place myself in the story as i am. I’m a kind, pretty, and talented artist. I will also have my pride and morals too. So in this story i imaged i was a starving artist, that barely got any clients, but i have gotten paid for my work before. Then i find a job, finally, as a maid, but he is a lunatic. I would leave for real just lik in the story. I will not be treated this way. Then after he reveals his true feelings, and chains me, i imagine i would be angrier. I would choose homelessness because the character in the story has made it this far. I have survived this far using the art skills that i got. My suffering truly started after being held captive by this fool. I have always hated hearing, “the reason he is bullying you is because he likes you”. I hate it alot 😢. I hate yanderes too. I would choose homelessness, and leave with my bag of art supplies, and paintbrushes. I’ll be a street artist. I will not be kept. That is how i imagine this story to go for me. A homeless street artist that is being stalked by a rich yandere a-hole. Sorry my comment is so long. I just thought sharing the story going on in my head would help explain 😅
