Ingredients for Fish Combo Recipe - Bangda Masala & Bangda Fry:
Bangda (Mackerel) - 1½ kg
1st Marination:
Lemon (nimbu) - 1
Black pepper(kali mirch) powder - 1tsp
Turmeric (haldi) powder - ½tsp
Green (hara) masala - 2tbsp
Salt (namak) as required
For Fish Fry:
Red chili (lalmirch) powder - 1tbsp
Kashmiri chili (lalmirch) powder - 1tbsp
Cumin (jeera) powder - 1tsp
Rice powder (chaval ka aata) - 1tbsp
Oil - 1tsp
Water - 1 tbsp
For Fish Masala:
Shallots (chota pyaz) - 250gms (you may use 3 medium size onions instead of shallots)
Tomato (tamatar) - 3mediumsize
Green chilies (hari mirch) - 4
Cumin seeds (jeera) - 1tsp
Curry leaves (kari patte) - 2string
Garlic cloves (lehsun) - 10 to 12
Turmeric (haldi) powder - ½ tsp
Red chili (lal mirch) powder - 1tbsp
Kashmiri chili (lal mirch) powder - 1tbsp
Cumin (jeera) powder - 1tsp
Black pepper (kali mirch) powder - 2tsp
Green (hara) masala - 3 tbsp
Oil (tel) for shallow frying
Salt as required
Coriander leaves (dhaniya patte) for garnishing
Green (Hara) Masala:
Garlic cloves (lehsun) - 10 to 12
Ginger (adrak) - 3 to 4 inch size
Coriander leaves (dhaniya patte) - 1 cup
Mint leaves (pudina) - 1 cup
Curry leaves (kari patta) - 1 cup
Green chilies (hari mirch) - 6 to 7
Lemon (nimbu) - ½
Salt (namak) as required
