Thank you so much!! I think it's just that the hype for this arrangement is gone so not many people ever search it anymore. But thanks for your kind words!
@@chopinchups It's a shame that only a few people have done an accurate cover of this since its absolutely amazing. How long did it take you to learn it?
@@somebodyontheinternet69 i agree, this piece has a great potential at piano, could sound both aggressive and dramatic depending on the interpretation and speed, i wish i could listen to more worthy performances of it than there sadly are on RU-vid. However i must recommend you the cover of ViddyWell, its not so famous but it seems to be more difficult than Lattice's. I learned this piece in 3 weekends and could play it fairly well then already, but at the time this video was recorded it had been maybe 4 months since i had finished it
@@chopinchups Just watched ViddyWell's cover. Although it's extremely impressive, I still prefer Lattice's video. I think that Lattice's arrangement is absolutely exceptional. I'm trying to learn a much simpler version but i'm not doing so well XD
@@somebodyontheinternet69 i agree with you. This cover seems to be more difficult in some parts but doesn't sound so musical but rather like the performer is trying to impress everyone haha. And dont worry, as long as you practice slowly and long enough you will succeed, just be patient
As a concert pianist watching this, I have to give serious props for this cover, you made barely any mistakes, and kept going when you did which I know can be hard when recording a performance. As others have said, this is very underrated and I'm glad to see this video getting pushed by the algorithm.
@@NyctusD 2:10 btw I agree, this is at least one of the best interpretation of this cover I've ever seen, I just pointed out the mistake because you asked
@@NyctusD there's a few very minor mistakes that were made that realistically are unavoidable in any performance, but to point out a few (that I'm sure he's aware of since I know I'm hyper aware whenever I make mistakes in recordings) there's minor mistakes at 0:08 , 0:48 , and 0:58 . Just mistakes in terms of hitting multiple notes at once, which is again just part of performing fast pieces like this one so I don't know if you could even really call them mistakes when they don't take away from the performance to someone like yourself. The performance is still basically flawless and I don't really want to take that away by pointing out minute "mistakes" but oh well.
I honestly love when pianists play this song, and you play it amazingly. The hand on the left makes it look as though it’s a jumping spider. It’s so satisfying haha
We beat the most viewed cover of this arrangement both in views and likes! Thank you all. P.s. thanks for the 11% like/view ratio aswell, thats pretty rare among videos with over 10k views and I'm thankful to all of you for that.
From someone who has had the undertale soundtrack looping in my head for the last like 8 years: this is sick as hell its a stunningly fantastic performance of this rendition of the song. Although my experience with playing piano is very limited I absolutely appreciate the amount of time and skill you must have put into it. As well as the as well as perseverance in your performance. I understand through other experiences how easy it can be to just like make yourself stat over again even over the slightest of mistakes. But not just that but also being able to keep yourself from freezing up and hesitating when you’ve made a misstep, now that takes a whole lotta willpower. well done, absolutely subbing, exited to see more!
Thank you so much! Luckily I'm used to recording myself playing so now if i stop after a mistake then it happens a couple seconds after, when i realize it was a really horrible one hahaha
Hahaha you are right! Although i really like it when the hands are reflected like that, i never thought of this idea. Your intelligence is surely above the level of a spider! 😂
I really wish I could play piano because I'd love to do something like this someday. Unfortunately I find it extremely hard to do different notes with each hand unless it's something really simple for one of them like pressing the same note over and over (and even then I have to really focus). Watching this and seeing your hands dart around the piano shows just how talented you are :)
It was as difficult for me as for you at first, everything comes with practice and i believe that if you would try and practice a lot you would succeed. Thank you for the words! :)
Don't worry about it, just keep playing. I almost gave up like this. Keep playing and pushing yourself, just not to burn out. You'll end up doing something amazing.
PRACTICE pleeeease do not say "I can't" I was in your spot before where coordinating the left and right hand was practically impossible. With enough practice I promise it gets much much easier
Как человек окончивший музыкальную школу (пусть фортепиано мой второй инструмент, я играю уже 8 лет), могу заявить, что всë равно когда вижу подобное, чувствую себя совсем начинающим
This is the best performance of lattice's spider dance. I actually looks like spiders dancing as it is supposed to. Also if you put the video in 1.25 the velocity is the actual velocity of the original song
People like you deserve more attention putting hard working into playing arrangements by Lattice. Lattice's arrangements are tough, and you deserve more credit for being able to play this. ♡♡ Great job♡
Piano has always been something ive liked and want to learn. Seeing people play is so satisfying because of the hand movements and playing two parts at once. Truly an impressive thing. Hopefully ill be like this one day.
At 1.15 speed it seems to be a more accurate tempo to Lattice, but even so this is such a wonderful play you made. You did such an amazing job with only 6 days with 5 day gaps between each 2 days. Genuinely an Impressive feat. Well done!
Woah dude that is amazing! Your hands must've been on fire, around 1:18 kinda cooled it down. Love the work! 💯/10 Edit: forgot to say I'm your 755th subscriber.
Nice, nice! Spider Dance for me is a perfect example of a "show off piece", where the pianist should go all out. So personally I would have played it in the original tempo (or even faster? Lol) but It's still enjoyable. You also kinda pointed out your own mistakes here in the comments, which I respect :)
Thank you! I remember when talking to someone in this comment section or a different one i referred to your cover of this song as of an even more advanced one than Lattice's ^^
Listened to this song more times than I can count. If there are any big mistakes, I should be able to notice. And this just sounds amazing. You did really good
Damn, I knew I had to see this when I saw you used Lattice's arrangement, that takes some serious dedication to learn! You got yourself a new subscriber :D
Great performance. I honestly would have relied a little bit more on the petal though. Your piano has really fresh dampeners which makes the sound very sharp, seems like you caught up with this idea around 1:57 on the second chorus.
Nice! Having played this arrangement myself, I can say this is a really nice recording. Sounds smoother than I've ever made it sound which is the main thing I struggled with. Also, Im not 100% sure on this bc I havent played it in a while, but at 1:20 I think the e flat should be a different note. (I could be wrong but it sounded a bit off to me) Other than that I didn't notice any mistakes, so good job!
