Jordan said he didn’t like the story before the game was released but he never made a video about why. I’d like to know what you didn’t like about the story.
He but I don’t know but I was the first one to notice this but everyone is over looking that swarm could be the next villain here’s my theory remember in that mission when same guys take the bee bot there are lots of bees in charges why are so guys doing this unless they where paid to do because someone needs bees if you don’t know who swarm is he is a guy made of bees and can Control and this Company have used unknown villains before remember spot please look into this
I’m guessing Carnage and Chameleon will be the subjects of 2 separate DLCs. 3rd game will be Goblin and Doc Ock as main big bads and hopefully it’ll introduce some new villains we haven’t seen yet like Molten Man, Hydro-Man, Hobgoblin, Beetle, Doppelgänger, Jackal etc (some of which already have east eggs in the games)
Its either a huge expansion or like what they did with MIles Morales in the form of a Venom game which theyve teased they would make if player base wants it enough.@@cidiose
Best scenario carnage is dlc that allows venom to be playable in free roam but also leads into his own spin off where carnage is defeated but has awakens knull
I love seeing how inspired by the Arkham games they are. It reminds me of Arkham City back in the day setting up Hush and Azrael and Scarecrow. It's so cool having a series like this again.
@@BlackangelKatakuri The developers have literally said that they were inspired by the Batman Arkham quadrilogy. It's extremely easy to see the similarities, and even the way they're setting up characters through side-quests and hinting towards other Spider-Man characters is straight from the Batman Arkham quadrilogy. You can't even argue this.
I've been saying since I beat it that I hope they do a Venom Spin off game with Eddie Brock being introduced, becoming the anti-hero we all know and love, teaming up with Spider-Man, taking down Carnage... then having KNULL as his final boss. That would be the PERFECT Venom game imo.
I hope Carnage won't be just a DLC vilain... Carnage has not been used to it's full potential in the Venom 2 movie, if people want to use him, they need to unleash his full potential and show how dangerous he is. A DLC wouldn't do him justice unless he comes back in SM3. EDIT: After seeing most replies, I think I finally agree he would be better in a DLC, I just don't want it to be a 2h story DLC.
Let’s use logic. If Carnage is a DLC villain he has the whole DLC to himself. If he’s in SM3 he’s gonna be a side story/side villian/side missions. He needs to be DLC
@cidiose I don't think so. I love Carnage, but I don't think he's a main game villain. He won't be teaming up with anyone. So it's either DLC or side mission, and I'd prefer DLC
Feel like this is a good prediction: DLC involves Carnage (maybe Chameleonas well), and introduces Silk to backup Miles, as he insists Pete stay on vacation, he's got this. That way there's two spider heroes for the DLC of Spider-Man 2. Then Silk gets a spinoff to better develop her in time for Spider-Man 3, so there will be 3 heroes for the third game, cuz they like that double meaning lol.
I think dlc will include Peter. It's his game, so for him to be absent from the dlc wouldn't make much sense. I think Cindy will be fleshed out in the dlc just like Miles was in the first game dlc. I think Peter will be on break in the spinoff title for Cindy. It'll probably use the same formula as the current game with the control of 2 spider people in Miles and Cindy. Then, all 3 will come back in part 3.

If they're going to do Silk, they should change it to Cindy being bitten by the same spider who bit Miles. Peter and Cindy being attracted to each other would be way too creepy with the age gap.
Just got done with the flashback high school section of the game on my 2nd playthrough. But a DLC playing as a 15 year old Spider-man. Would be pretty dope. Have his first interaction with Fisk. The DLC can start with uncles Ben's death or whatever. I'm just spitballing here
This game was actually incredible. The more I played, the better it got. The story was good and I loved the gameplay. Looking forward to a third entry. Hopefully it doesn't take 2 years to get here
Yea, bought it at release but I’m more Xbox and recently this week started replaying it as I’m taking a break from Xbox, about 10 hours or so into it and just taking my time with it.
I would LOVE a Cindy Moon spin-off game. Just like the Miles Morales spin-off game. It'd be a thorough way to properly introduce her not just to this Universe, but also to people not familiar with her
This might be a crazy stretch but after how crazy they got with the symbiotes in this game like straight out of the comics, I can see them bringing goblin and carnage into the next major title, imagine red goblin.
I think insomniac is trying to stay away from the more complex stories I noticed that they try to simplify things and adding clones is one thing that would muddy the storyline.
I think Silk would be really cool. Wondering how her powers will be different and how her combat will be different. Note. Even tho her spider sense is “more developed” it’s less reliable because of her age. I can see them taking that opportunity to mix up the gameplay a bit and keep it fresh. Would rather see her in a DLC first then get a standalone. But we still have the Venom rumors and Wolverine! Insomniac is going to be pumping these things out every 2-3 years maybe even a yearly thing since they have the engine and formula for it. Wild.
@@amon__7187 I hear you but honestly. The only quality they need is writing. The combat and world building is honestly holding up so well that I’m not worried about that. Combat and writing need to be tweaked for each character obviously. Traversal as well, depending on the character. Like Wolverines traversal will be vastly different than any of the Spider-Hero’s. But overall, I would buy a game yearly if they were of this caliber. And considering the rumor is that they want Wolverine out by Fall 2024, I would bet on Insomniac to cook another banger. Am I wrong ?
@andray310 wrong to consider wolverine to be a banger? No your not, but we don't know how long that's been in development. A yearly or 2-3 yes game series will always suffer. They got the engine and gameplay. But that would become stale real quick. Just look at assassin's creed.
@@amon__7187 yes but you’re also assuming that Insomniac will turn into Ubisoft. Which it won’t. The talent and commitment there is unmatched as you can tell in the games. I’m just saying they have the talent and ability to do so, and if they wanted they probably could.
@andray310 no they couldn't. No one can. Not a single person or company cam churn out a game to this level on the regular. Having to consistently match or exceed the previous game is impossible
If they adapt Silk's story, it'll be more likely she and Miles were bit by the same spidrer and share that attraction. Probably a little too young for Peter
Otto could be hinting at his Superior Spider Man plan and Carnage deserves to be a central villain in the 3rd game, especially if GG is in the 3rd game
I’d love the ability to play as the symbiot with an unnamed confused host…and by the end it’s revealed it’s Eddie or something idk…probably won’t happen but would be cool
They're not gonna make a silk centric game. Miles was popular due to spider verse.. People love and are more exposed to miles from there. No general public cares or know about silk enough to play as her
Wouldn’t be surprised if they do both versions of the green goblin in the 3rd game, you got the human version enhanced with the serum and then you get the hulking brute version of the goblin from the ultimate comics that poses more of a physical threat especially if we gonna get three different spider man
Who should be the new venom look no further than the classic Eddie Brock he could be infected with a small pice of the venom material, giving fans the lethal protector they crave.
I’m pretty sure Cindy is supposed to be Miles’ age in Insomniac’s universe. So if there’s any primal love like in the comics it would be between Miles and Cindy.
I think a short dlc of the clone saga would be cool, since Peter half retired at the end, could introduce Ben Reilly as a new character who comes in as Spiderman and it raises eyebrows, and have Kaine as his villain for it
Doc Ock's plan is to become the SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN, omg imagine Green Goblin, Carnage, Superior Spider-man as the main villains for the next game, god i can't wait
Considering I beat the game in 25 hours we better be getting some free dlc. TBH I feel scammed for the price that I paided. Also not being able to free roam as venom cwas a horrible move. Along with peter terribles decision
I feel like ‘The Final Chapter’ refers to the Superior Spider-Man storyline. It would make sense if they off our Peter Parker and they leave us with Miles to take the mantel and carry it on.
Knull is way too out there for the Insomniac verse Spider-Man. I agree with the video that if they ever make a Venom game, they should save Knull in there with a proper buildup.
@IamNoHeart i put the chances of a Venom game at about 0%. I guarantee the last thing Insomniac wants is to only make Marvel games. My bet is 2 maybe 3 piece dlc like the last game but centered around Cindy Moon. Green Goblin being the opening third part of 3 then Knull and Carnage being the main baddies. And I think Miles will be the main focus like Peter was for 2.
I hope the Venom Spin off would have Eddie Brock as the new host and Eddie would then teach Venom how to become a Anti-Hero where he saves lives but also takes lives much like in the movies and comics. And i hope that they would save Carnage for that spin off since it would be fitting for Venom to fight Carnage.
I feel like they will do the flash Thompson route as he’s mentioned several times in this game. Gives more depth to when Peter is eventually saved by his former bully to take on Cletus
My biggest fear with the third game is the introduction of the Green Goblin. As we all know the fate of Peter in the same Universe as Miles during the Green Goblin attacks. (At least in the "main" Universe Miles resided in to my knowledge). But if they DO kill him off (especially considering Peter wants to retire/take a break from Super Heroing.), I wouldn't be completely opposed to it. Just afraid of the feels it would bring.
Everyone that posts their "predictions" all have the same ideas... Carnage, Chameleon, Green Goblin. What about Kingpin? He was put away in the beginning of the first game and in Miles' game, we saw that he was still operating from the inside. Now we know that Fisk tower was sold to the Baxter Foundation. There's no way that Kingpin is gone for good. He's gotta come back in some way or another.
When you have no idea who silk is and what the final chapter stands for and yet you proceed to make a video about it. The final chapter is an event in one of the spiderman's comic books that includes green goblin as the big mastermind behind some shady stuff. I cant remember the exact details but that line is a big tease that green goblin is gonna play a major role in the next game
They are going to do the silk romance arc with Miles instead of Peter, I think its clear given she was introduction to him, the twist will be she was biten by the same spider as him instead of Peter
Carnage needs to lead into Knull for part 3, while Doc Ock and Goblin are the emotional subplot. Eddie Brock as a playable Venom and Silk should be should be DLC or stand alone entries so we can have them ready for 3.
I remember seeing a video of a Hand hide out that looked like it was furnished and set up for a mission. Thinking a DLC could include Daredevil and the Hand.
Kingpin may be Introduction Morbius, Hammerhead is still alive, and Silver Sable is still around. She might make a return, and the taskmaster also sets something in the first game about screwball still alive.
If Carnage is in DLC, it should go into the next game as well. Ain't no way Carnage, as big as he is and more dangerous than Venom, is just reserved for DLC.
my guess is the superior spider story line for the next game. that line at the end of the first game about having a useless body and it being the final chapter with peter trying to retire, it would fit the insomniac theme of hurting peter in every way imaginable.
I think that Ock is trying to do a new Superior Spider-Man. He’s been very clearly upset at his “useless body”, so an adaptation of him switching bodies with Peter, I can see that happening
Either swapping bodies or next game introduces the Jackal and they introduce cloning. Having Jackal clone Peter and have Doc Ock swap his body with a clone.
I’m pretty sure we will get Silk by way of Blood Transfusion from Miles OR Jackal doing some genetic tampering; I think the DLC will def be The Chameleon and maybe something involving the Kingpin storyline from SPMM (fingers crossed for Beetle introduction) - personally I wouldn’t mind a Spider Man Miles Morales 2 tho, after this game I just wanna spend more time with Miles fr
theres another comic called the Final Chapter where Otto goes by the name Master Planner, it's the one with Pete stuck under the debris of a collapsed building and water pouring on him and he has to forgive himself for his guilt to find the strength to get out
Making Maximum Carnage a DLC is not only disrespectful but it would be a kick in the head for all Spidey fans….I’d rather see dlc introducing Silk or the beginning of a new sinister six…..I think they should introduce Eddie and make him the new Venom

Keep venom in the game just implement him as Eddie Brock bring in Madame Webb and spider Gwen sense we getting Cindy so many characters just would love to see them all in one game

I just hope that spiderman 3 won’t follow the same template as the previous games where there is one big villain that is in focus for 80% of the story, only for another more powerful villain to be the final boss
I hope they do something a little different by introducing Carnage as an expansion to the game giving an opportunity to give us a larger story than a DLC Im just wishful thinking 😅
Rhino, at least in one version of the story, is absolutely dead. There is an area that can be found outside the map that has his head hung on a wall like a trophy.
If where going to heve carnage and green goblin so as octavius and chameleon i think Michael morbius and hydro-man could be our 5 and 6 villains if we are going to get a new sinister six
I think Chameleon, Carnage, and Silk will be DLC’s. Green Goblin makes more sense for the 3rd game. I wouldn’t drop GG for a dlc, that makes no sense at all.
