One of my fav details from this game series is Peter's heels on his main suit! Notice how they are armored, as he usually starts a combo by kicking with his heels. If he didn't improve the shoes sooner, he could have broken his heels/permanently damaged them with how much he uses them.

This game is def my game of the year and one my favorites of the 2020s so far, really impressed with how fast you were able to platinum the game and put out a banger video. Great job Sha!

@@ty.1311 one of harry’s labs required you to get dangerously close to the water so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where everyone usually learns it, as opposed to managing to fail a swing, two web zips, and a zip to point and crashing
It's super fun but getting 10,000 Tech parts, upgrade all gadgets, upgrade all suit Tech, and all suits is a grind. Hope there's enough stuff to do to collect lots of tokens before getting 100% completion districts on everything
Got this game for Christmas and glad I wasn’t the only one who struggled on the lizard fight. I had a buggy camera and couldn’t move properly half the time
I actually enjoyed MJ's sections, after the initial groan, the stealth grew on me. It's an easy one hit kill and even if the hunters see you, you can still one hit ko them. Hailey's mission was actually really good. I didn't understand why I couldn't hear anything at first but then I remembered she was deaf. Nice little additions.
The problem I’m seeing a lot of platinum RU-vidrs do is make the story too difficult on themselves by splitting it up. I played on Amazing and quite literally did not die ONCE in any mission because I invested in suit tech early from the side missions and collectibles. I literally had like 200 health going into the lizard fight. can also confirm this game is a masterpiece
for myself i played it like i played 2018, but this game has even better side content and definitely needs you to do them throughout the main story because i played on the hardest difficulty and finished it barely powered up 😅
@@MirilaakWoahhhh, I wouldn't say better. The Mysteriums plot was lame as hell. Spider-Bots felt like it was gonna lead up to something great and then didn't. Hunter Bases were awesome I liked those with the bird drones you had to find. No extra story after clearing all the symbiote nests.
@@octolockg5059 i don't even really remember the side content from the first game, this one had actual side missions with short storylines, and all of them were enjoyable to play (minus some of the symbiote nests cause they were annoying at times) it isn't perfect, but it is 100% better than the first game's side content
one of the best additions to this game that most ppl will prolly overlook is the fact that u can skip literally every puzzle n the game from the pause menu from the very beginning lmao.

Just got the platinum today, was hoping it would be a bit more on the difficult time. Still an amazing game though and I had a great time getting the platinum. Can't wait to see what they do with DLC and the sequel.
I encountered 3 bugs which were all game breaking - 1. The one you faced, somehow clipped in one of the buildings, 2. Miles after a fight got all sparky and that won't go away way too distracting, 3. When miles learns galvanize the game won't let me use it for the first time and so won't move forward
I am guessing that they are going to make a new trophie for completing the game in New Game +, they said that it was coming in the end of 2023, also in the same patch, i guess, you will be able to replay missions
Just got the plat so now im watching the video. This game was AMAZING BTW! Took 29 hrs for me and by far my favorite of the 3 games and there were so many amazing suits too

I think I wasn't clear but I did like 60% of the progress for every one of them, then did the last 40% or so after the main game... I did that for xp. I also did some of the Miles quests before postgame, but I showed it at the end. Hope that clears it up
It's becoming a grind for me. Last trophy is Evolved where I have to beat 100 enemies with the evolved venom abilities as Miles but since I have completed the game I have to do the crime activities. That's what happens if you mostly play as Peter Parker so here's a tip, balance it out with Miles even though he is the annoying Spiderman in the game. It's a shame they made him annoying when in the Spider-Verse movies he's much more likeable.
Scream boss fight and venom final fight really made me test my patience on the highest difficulty. Maybe cause I didn't upgrade my gears or suit stats😂🤦♂️
Easy platinum. The only one I had trouble with is Soar because, despite knowing the route, sometimes the wings would just cut out on me. It was the last trophy and I was getting frustrated after two days of playing so I left the game for a day or so and went back and reduced the swing guidance and got it pretty quickly.
The reason sandman was angry was because Peter trapped him in a vial the was shown in marvel spider-man 2018 in the backpacks and I have no idea who released him in the game though
Peter says in the 2018 game when looking at that vial that he isn't sure if opening it would release the Sandman or not, so he's not sure if that's really the Sandman in that vial, or just normal sand. Plus Sandman in his sandy form - even human size - would be much more than sand than that small vial.
Just leave everything else and admire the great gam we are able to play, not gonna lie the hype was there, and they managed to nail every single aspect giving us one of the greatest story of venom to ever get portrait, feels better than the movies as well
theres this mechanic in the game called parrying and once u get used to it you can beat bosses and enemies faster than js jumping around! just letting u know dude!

I feel that you played the game backwards. Less than Halfway trough the game I did all the side missions, finding the spider bots and many more so I could have full health bar and more gadgets and more things unlocked for the rest of the story, I was stronger and had more things unlocked which made the rest of the game more enjoyable. Also when the enemy hits you, you don’t have to just dodge you can counter their hits from the enemy’s, instead you just dodged them.
Starting playing Sat and finished (plus plat) Wed afternoon. Happy for the great experience and the quick platinum, but sad I only got four days of the new Spider-Man. Hope DLC is already underway.
Great video! I feel like you only found the combat repetitive because you were only using your fists and barely touched your web shooters. Imo finding creative ways to off enemies quickly by webbing them to walls and/or the ground kept it refreshing for me
I gotta disagree with you on that one. By that I mean I was SOOOO glad they fixed their trophy requirements. The previous games requires you to beat the game in new-game plus mode. The issue with that is. . . there is NO replay value to these games. So you get very little out of playing through the game a second time right after you beat it the first time. It's tedious and made for a bad plat trophy in the other games. Instead of that, in SM2, you can get ALL the achievements in a single save file in a single run of the main story. As. It. Should. Be. 👏 My only gripe was that they were a bit too easy. And by that I mean. . . there is NO trophy behind getting all golds on all mysterio time trials. There really should be one, or atleast something extra for it. You're gonna make me randomly stumble upon this random interaction prompt on some random church to get the plat. . . but not require me to 100% the side-mission content? That's some BS right there. Just glad NG+ isn't required this time around.
I platinumed MIles Morales on the hardest difficulty.. I played 2018 on ps4 and never got to plat the game because my ps4 died. SO once I plat spiderman 2 I will be going back to 2018 spidey on the ps5
I rushed through the story on the hardest difficulty, just about no upgrades no side missions done I just wanted to see how the story ended. After I beat the story I unlocked an even harder difficulty. I started a new game with the intention of 100% and platting the game. I 100% but I cannot plat. The “defeat 100 enemies with spider arm abilities” trophy is stuck at 59 and will not go up anymore at all.
I noticed you didn’t upgrade your health throughout the main story, just wondering if this was in purpose or accident cause it can be a absolute nightmare playing in the hardest difficulty with a little amount of health
