I honestly didn't either until I tried. I didn't even really practice beforehand, I just booted up the game and gave it a shot. Took a few resets and route-planning, though... and Just Faze has already made a speedrun out of this challenge lol
@@Benjamin-rj7ds ill look him up. You're the first channel ive come across for specialty rules speed runs of this game. I gotta see how he gets around the chase levels. Love that y'all are keeping this classic game alive💪🏽
@@deepfreezzeer Faze's run on this level/format isn't public yet. I'm not sure if he intends to publicize it or not, but he's posted it on the Spider-Man 2002 Discord which can be found on speedrun.com. I didn't intend this to be seen as a speedrun myself, but GamingMaster95 started the whole "no webs challenge" trend for other levels and he did it with speedrunning in mind. I'm just glad people are watching, even if just a few. I'd do more full-game speedruns, but that requires a lot of uninterrupted time and I can't reliably find many good times to commit to it, hence the shorter challenge videos. I'm currently thinking of trying out some more challenge runs.
If you assume "webless" includes web swing and web zip, then it likely is impossible, at least under current strategies, by virtue of the fact that the chase missions have their own time limits and some buildings might be too far away to double jump onto. If you only exclude web attacks, it's feasible, and if you only exclude web swing but not web zip, it's a bit more doable.
