Spider bites can sometimes turn you into a superhero, as in the case of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: The Movie. Assume the role of Peter, a good-hearted teenager bitten by a genetically engineered spider, which gives him muscles, incredible strength, and spider-like abilities. You'll have to learn how to control your powers including Spider Sense, web-slinging, and wall crawling, and the all-new aerial combat moves. The world's toughest villains, including Shocker, Vulture, and the Green Goblin will all be after you. Are you up for the challenge?

Plus Josh Keaton was originally supposed voice Peter Parker/Spider-Man for this at the time if they could'nt get Tobey to reprise his role as Spider-Man then instead Harry Osborn would be voiced by Keaton for the game.

But I am pretty sure even an average human being without superpowers could easily avoid them. The sniper part might be tricky though unless you actually know he tries to shoot you every time he reloads his gun.

I love this mission right there to bad this was on the Xbox version and not the PS2 version one but it's fun looking at the cutscenes to this one it's kinda funny how Spider-Man made a Batman reference about having a signal call him to fight crime. I gotta say I love this game since my childhood sure do bring back memories looking back. 👍

Did the developers really expect people to achieve the perfect bonus in this level?

Since you take mandatory damage from the poison, the bonus is based on going through the level without getting hit by Kraven's booby traps sans the poison.

Never got to play this level as a kid with the PS2 port. I gotta say, though, they casted Peter Lurie perfectly for Kraven three years before I'd see F.E.A.R. Really gives those Paxton Fettel vibes with his evil chuckles and deep voice.

I loved the Kraven part of this Spider-man game too bad I only have the PS2 version one which is okay, but I wish Kraven was in both the PS2, and Xbox versions that would be even cooler. But nonetheless I love this Spider-man movie game since my childhood sure does bring me back memories I've had Spider-man 1, 2, and 3 movie games since I was 9 years old. At 1:20 Spider-man made a Batman reference there it would be cool for someone to make a Spider signal to call Spider-man for help.

@@kaanbolat1419 I doubt it, it's more likely that they wanted to incentivize people to buy the Xbox. Keep in mind that this was Microsoft's first endeavour into the console market which made them Sony and Nintendo's newest competitor since Sega stopped producing consoles. This was probably one of their many attempts to prove themselves worthy to be in the console war.

Kraven the Hunter was only on the Xbox version and he's part of the story. The other consoles (Gamecube/PS2) didn't get these missions for reasons I don't understand. It was rather surprising for me when I found out he was featured in the game as well.

It's the Xbox version except it can be played on the Xbox 360. And no, this mission doesn't replace another mission. All the other missions are present on this game. The Xbox version is the complete edition.

Yep but sadly Kraven the hunter and his levels are on the Xbox Version of this game only and you can buy an original Xbox off of eBay or if you have an Xbox 360 well your in luck this game is compatible with the Xbox 360 if you have the game your in luck

This is like a "special edition" version of Spidey-Man. You won't find this on the PS2 or Gamecube version that's for sure. Only for the first Xbox.

This game is based off the raimi trilogy, which did not have kraven in it at all, and coming to think of it, shocker, vulture, and scorpion were not in there either. Sony’s movies were the amazing Spider-Man series.

from what i hear, the reason why this level wasn't on ps2 or gc is because there's certain parts in this level (particularly the hallway where kraven is trying to snipe spider-man) that just didn't run properly on the "weaker" systems. so i assume they just decided to get rid of the levels for gc and ps2 but kept them for xbox, considering it ran fine. i don't know the validity, but i figured it would be worth mentioning

Hm that's odd I mean the GCN ran it at 60fps locked and PC could as well but the ps2 had unlocked frame rate and it dropped a lot so I can understand why they did that.

This was a great level also the boss fight was awesome as well. They should have included both levels with Kraven for all of the versions of the game for the PlayStation 2, Game Cube, and computer I would have liked to play these two levels. Kraven is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains 👍❤️😀

I remember my friend and I played this game on his Xbox and I was really disappointed that it wasn’t on PS2

You can't if you grew up playing the PlayStation 2/Gamecube version. Kraven was only exclusive to the Xbox version.

Not for me. It was super easy. You just have to avoid the traps by playing smart.

@@Kevin-xv9pm well, I did when I played this level. It was so easy that I made fun of kraven claiming why he thinks he is the world’s greatest hunter if his targets can easily avoid all of his booby traps and definitely dodge his sniper rifle attacks by just hiding behind pillars.

@@Kevin-xv9pm nope. Only scaredy cats need to use superpowers to escape those traps. I just played it by smart by timing the traps and either running or jumping them. An average human could easily beat the traps. However, the sniper part would be hard unless you can know kraven is at a distance sniping you.

Those two levels are only available on the Xbox version of the game.

What the hell are you talking about? PS2 was the bestselling console but in no way was it the most 'groundbreaking', it was actually the least powerful of the Gamecube/XBOX/PS2 era.

Yeah, that was real slick of the developers to do that. More odd considering PS2 was the biggest console at the time and Xbox was 2nd. You would think they'd add this to the most popular console.

It was Xbox’s edge on the competition. I just wish there was something exclusive to the other versions of the game as well
