Spider-man 3 Dr. Wallace Deleted Scene Restoration V1.0 (V1.1 IS OUT NOW!) 

This would've happened had they not pressured Raimi to include Venom. Then Sandman would've been the main villain along with New Goblin, ultimately saving Venom for the 4th movie.

I love the fact that raimi has the talent to turn a superhero movie into a scary movie with just a few scenes. Best director ever.

This movie had o lot of deleted scenes. Spider man 3 is a long film. Do you already imagined if these scenes were'nt deleted?? This film would be most longer of everything.

Sandman in the final cut that everyone watched was kind of a forgivable character but watching this and the other deleted scenee with Penny now i know why Sam wanted him to being the main villain in the 3rd installment before Sony forced him to include Venom in the mix Sandman was so relatable as a character even more than Doc ock and Green Goblin, he was just a desesperate father trying to cure his sick child no matter what, even if that implies being a criminal he didn't care about him in prison while his Penny was healthy again 😔 This film had a lot of potential it's such a shame what Sony and Avi made Sam to do with this movie

I love how HISHE immortalised this man

This would've made Sandman a very AMAZING iconic villain, backstory, his goals, the theme music, his iconic look. On addition to the other deleted scenes with his interaction with Penny in the park. This all would've elevated him a lot if Raimi kept his script if it weren't for including Venom.

Fun fact: The original cut for this film was over 3 hours long

The coolest thing is that we see two different characters doing their business

This kinda has that Sam Raimi horror vibe to it like Doc Ock hospital scene in Spider-Man 2!

This scene probably would have been included if they didnt replace like a quarter of the movie with venom that raimi didnt even wanna do

Ok, this music is absolutelly insane.

You know what'd be awesome? They make Spider-Man 3.1 as part 1 where the focus is Sandman, New Goblin, and Black suit Spider-Man to end it on the Church scene. And Spider-Man 3.2 as part 2 where Venom will be the majority of it.

This would have been good to see. Apart from seeing his daughter in the beginning and mentioning her at the end we kinda forget what his whole motive is during the movie.

An extra 30min for this movie would've been great to fit in these epic scenes

Hearing how aggressive Peter grunts as he swings and that SOUNDTRACK it’s very clear how bad Peter wants to kill him at this point I love spider man 3 and always will

Really, they should have cut either Venom or New Goblin... we were robbed of greatness, especially. It's even more frustating considering Sandman was like a B to C list villain in Spidey's rogues gallery and this movie made him so, so compelling 🥺

At first, when I saw the word Wallace I thought it was Wallace and Gromit

That would've made Sandman's defeat during the subway fight afterwards more heart breaking. The way he desperately still reaches out for the money even after Spider-Man flooded him with water as he was melting and making that desperate moan/scream before he went through the vent. He really wanted that money for his daughter's operation.

See how a movie well hated can turn into so much more if the directors are given complete control perfect examples are Raimi and Snyder

Avi Arad is responsible for the mess off this movie. Raimi is a pro, they should had let him do his movie without any pressure. I mean if Raimi was up to an approach with Sony & the producers, he could’ve just teased the symbiont & introduce Topher Grace as Eddie and let his character develop for further Spider-Man movies. I still remember there were plans for a fourth & fifth movie. Sandman’s arc got massively interrupted by all the side plots.

I wonder why this deleted scene hasn’t been fully released yet, even as a bonus home video feature. I guess there’s a Sony executive thinking “the slower it takes to release them, the more money we’ll make from it”, or something along those lines.

I'm telling you, I seen some of these "deleted scenes" at the theater! Maybe it was one of those special viewings, idk? Edit: So there was apparently a different version with cut content that simultaneously added, replaced, and deleted scenes from the normal version that was also shown in theaters.

The unfinished special effects of Flint Marko's sand looks like it came straight out of a cheap direct-to-DVD knockoff of Spider-Man.

Did he throw the doctor out the window?? Also they should have kept the scene with Peter coming home to the police scanner and choosing the black suit. I liked that.

I'd love to see if you could restore the original subway fight scene where he uses a massive piece of rail line to clobber Flint with. That's something I've wanted to see for a while. Also, If I'm not mistaken, isn't Spidey supposed to land on a taxi, crushing it in the process of doing so? I've seen the photos but never with context, I always assumed it was for this scene.

There's no film that failed that I wish had been a success more than Spider-Man 3. Sam Raimi wanted to tell his own story but Sony just had to butt in.
