Venom and eddie will sacrifice themselves at the end to stop knull for now, knowing that part of venom still exists in the mcu. the symbiote will seek out spidey and then knull reveals that he can still sense venom and is coming to earth. then 3rd big avengers movie after doomsday hopefully where we see thor and silver surfer vs knull!

Is anyone else worried that Sony is going to pull craptastcal CASH GRAB with ZERO thought or care for the future franchise and Marvel continuity !? I think that it's a FUNDAMENTAL difference between the Japanese cultural structure and Western culture. Sony going Anime and clashing with Marvel and the Western Graphic novel outlook.

I can see where this is going. The piece of Venom that got left in the MCU will eventually bond with Tom Holland Spiderman. Secret Wars will allow Hardy Venom to meet MCU Spiderman. Venom might get gravely injured and thats when Spidermans symbiote will have to return to Venom in order to save his life and provide a serious upgrade. Venom will then emerge with his spider abilities and spider symbol on his chest. Just a theory.

I have crazier idea, let Knull destroy the current Eddie's universe but somehow Venom survived and ended up in Tom Holland's multiverse, and then Knull will chase him to that multiverse with his power, again since the title is "THE LAST DANCE" It will be weird if the current Eddie still remain as Venom in the end of the movie

This post is looking for a challenge. Are we sure that Knull without the All Black is stronger than Gorr with the All Black? Knull may be the god of symbiotes but his greatest weakness is they all hate him. A planet of symbiotes could turn on him and pose a threat. I wonder how this will affect the Love and Thunder canon about Gorr.

But I agree with you, Marvel messed up Gorr so bad I almost threw up after watching that movie. Sony introduced carnage and it was borderline horrible. The first Venom in my opinion was better, and with Carnage being introduced in Venom 2 , the character and the movie as a whole gave the movie a campy feel , with stupid character dialogue, a dumb love story ( a psycho is in love with sonic screaming mutant) and really a story that really didn’t make sense. I would have introduced Carnage into movie via a shadow figure killing and eating brains in the background .The news reports this and venom (Brock) go searching for someone that mimics them . They finally stumble on carnage and then a clip of Eddie meeting Cassidy in jail and the symbiote leaving a spawn. This leads to a story of trying to make up for the actions venom was making prior ( eating brains) . The movie ends with carnage symbiote being removed in the end. Only if the movie does well works I add Layers and introduce characters connected to carnage . Nevertheless I would have the Villain seeking revenge and with carnage’s mindset he wouldn’t care of his creator destroyed everything and boom knoll introduction to get revenge against venom

I would flip if Eddie ends up in the MCU at the end of the movie and cross paths with Peter in Spider Man 4 and say "I know you, you're Spider Man" and sees Peter's reaction that the spell worked but how does this one person remembers me but not knowing Eddie is from another universe. Personally, I wish that venom TLD would just end open ended, wait till secret wars to bring over venom and give Spidey the black suit like the comics. Keep Spider-Man 4 ground level and then have the ending be similar to antman and the wasp, where the post credit scene leads into secret wars. Do secret wars and then bring knull back after that's resolved and the universe is soft rebooted

For me since the title is "THE LAST DANCE" Eddie must die here but somehow Venom survived and ended up in MCU's universe which is earth 616, and then Knull will chase him since he got the power to jump between multiverse to cause new problem for the multiverse, if both of them survive then there's no point naming it "THE LAST DANCE", and then MCU can make a recast for Eddie for the new Venom or they can let Hardy becomes Eddie again however everything start from absolute zero with Venom

I hope it somehow ends up with Eddie and Peter working at the bugle and the symbiote eventually attaches to spidey, he try’s it out for a bit but realises it’s bad etc etc (after stopping pulling punches for a bit) and kicks it out. Then it goes back to Eddie and corrupts him to hate spidey for getting rid of the symbiote

With RDJ being a variant of Tony that becomes Dr Doom, that would easily send Peter over the edge at the exact time that the piece of symbiote comes into his life. We could see Tom Holland’s version of dark Peter Parker as he fights the shock of seeing someone that looks exactly like his mentor becoming a major threat to everything he cares about. The symbiote could easily take advantage of his vulnerable state. They would of course separate and depending on if they kill the Sony Eddie and reintroduce a variant (still played by Tom Hardy) or just transfer Sony Eddie in, we get venom finally with his symbol. King in black is such a massive story you could easily have 3 phases with just symbiote mayhem building into the final stand off with Knull. Also they need to bring back Carnage. Killing him off was a huge mistake.

Ideally you'd end The Last Dance with Eddie being captured by Knull, Spider-Man 4 is the symbiote trying to find a way to free Eddie as the B plot, Battle World happens then Peter get's the Symbiote, Spider-Man 5 is basically the symbiote trying to take over Peter so it can force Peter into rescuing Eddie, and Spider-Man 6 is Knull coming with Eddie as his prisoner because Knull realizes the symbiote bonded to Eddie was All Black The Necro Sword in Eddie's universe.

For one thing Venom was barely able to stop Carnage in the last film but for one thing Venom will not be able to defeat Knull on his own not like this of course Even if Venom had Spider-Man's Powers he still wouldn't be strong enough to defeat Knull alone of course not even with Spider-Man's help wouldn't have been enough either

There is quite literally only one character currently in the MCU that could possibly give Knull a run for his money, and that is Sentry. Knull in the comics ran everybody's pockets, he pulled up to Earth and it was the earth v him. I personally hoping that Knull does survive the last dance not just because he needs to be done justice, but also after secret wars he would be a perfect Thanos level villian

I'm not a very big fan of these recent venom movies. I hope the do venom justice if he appears in Spiderman 4. Such an amazing character being wasted. Edit: I really don't want a venom Spiderman team up. I want them to fight a bloody battle 😢

I love the idea of introducing Knull into the Marvel/Sony movies however I can't help but feel that their reach is gonna exceed their grasp in Venom 3 & Spidey4 in terms of doing justice to Knull - one of the most powerful supervillains in the whole Marvel multiverse. As Charlie points out in the movies there's only one Knull in the multiverse. I love The King in Black comic but I doubt that Marvel/Sony will follow much of the comic's narrative in either, or a combination of, Venom3 & Spidey4 movies. In the comics "The Enigma Force" is a "God of Light",. It's a sentient cosmic energy with several facets (eg: uni-power) and was created when the universe started (2nd cosmos) in order to oppose the Dark God, Knull. The Beyonders use this force to keep the universes within the multiverse - but in the movies/series God Loki is doing this job. In "The King in Black" comic, "The Enigma Force" chooses Eddie Brock as the new Captain Universe and Eddie uses the enigma force to destroy Knull. Although it's possible to have something like this happen over the Venom3 &/or Spidey4 movies I'm hoping that Marvel/Sony don't kill off a great villain too early as they did with Thanos. However...... if Knull ISN'T killed off, then why does he allow Dr Doom to destroy all the universes - containing all the symbiotes - leaving only the void planet (Battleworld)? If Knull IS killed off by Eddie Brock (Captain Universe), then surely Eddie would be able to stop Doctor Doom. BTW I think Loki could do this anyway. Anyhoo....it seems that following "The King in Black" comic narrative could create several movie plot problems - imo the worst is killing off a great supervillain too early, as with Thanos.

Donny Cates Venom run was what really got me back into collecting again. That was such a PHENOMENAL storyline leading into King in Black. Since then I’ve always had this hunch Knull would make his appearance on the big screen, but not like this… it’s way too soon and it was very unexpected, there should have been a build up into Knull. Shit Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman didn’t even know Sony was bringing in Knull. My theory is Venom 3 will only be a cameo of Knull (let’s hope Sony is no that stupid) and kill him off in just one go?? There’s important characters to the story that they will need if they want to do it right (Dylan Broke, Miles, and Rex Strickland) just to name a few. Idk I really don’t know how I feel about all this, like I’m hyped for Knull cuz he’s one of my favorite villains. But at the same time I feel these developers are going to do him dirty on screen like what they did to Gorr…

I've decided to just sit back and have a bit of faith in both Sony and Marvel Studios. They're working more closely together than most fans think. So I'm hoping they have a plan to do Knull justice. As disappointing as most of Sonys 'spiderverse' has been, Venom has been quite good. There's no chance they nerf tf out of a true cosmic BEAST such as The King in Black.

I saw the comments from the guy who created the Knull character he's actively helping them with the film and the future trajectory for the character but his comments have me SO PUMPED; he literally said the treatment Knull gets in this film and will be getting based on their plan for his future is "How the King in Black SHOULD be treated"! Using Knull as a multiversal bridge between the MCU and Sony is a clever way to tie up some loose ends for sure. They can pay off some Easter Eggs and go into the smaller scale after Peter gets the symbiote and after Secret War and Doom War.

I think worst case scenario: they could clean it up by having Eddy and Venom lose to Knull. He absorbs them, since Venom is proclaimed to be his first symbiote AKA the All Black, then he could have his true power of Mutiverse hooping. Knull wants to kill 616 Peter because he is said to be the rightful person to replace him as King in Black. In the comics, The Eventuality, the strongest Brock at the end of time, tells this to Brock when he becomes King In Black so it could work. Peter gets his own 616 Venom in secret wars and somehow he could battle a version of Venom verse sinister six in Battleworld

This feels like Marvel and Sony are setting up Knull to be the next major villain for the upcoming Avengers movie. Yes, Dr. Doom will play a part in this but likely as an initial ally and eventually shift into villain. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

If it turns out Tom Holland is playing knull and thus sudden reshoots and tom "filming" a surprise movie...that would be about the only play they have left if they want to actually make us care about Spider-Man in this situation and it would be actually genius. All multiverse and what not. And it would make spiderman 4 hit a hell of alot harder given what you've scooped on. That and the rdj doom play got people excited nothing sony puts out gets anyone excited...because no spiderman. Put knull in this thing for 10 minutes and have it be tom holland and they have an insist hit.

Theory: Marvel’s upcoming Avengers movies will cross over with Sony’s Venomverse, through Spider-Man having a role in getting Doom to help him in the Venomverse. Maybe it has to do with several incursion events where Knull and Doom are like neck and neck in obtaining their multiverse-level powers and adaptations, leading to a major incursion event to lead to this culmination. And the incursions are a great way to end the multiverse issues. Just a theory.
