I just watched it for the first time and I was literally speechless by the end I’ve never had a movie experience like this, tbf I don’t watch many movies but I’ve seen many ppl say the same including u 🫶🏻
@@SamuraiRabbitFan its confirmed they work together. The digital version of atsv had some extra scenes and art for the movie before it got split into two.
It nice to hear my favorite song from the ATSV Soundtrack and now hear it with the credits again, it makes me wanna rewatch the movie in theaters again
I’ve rewatched Across The Spider-Verse like an unhealthy amount of times but every time I have watched it, I watch the credits all the way through, I think that just says something about the credits, Art. pure art
I was a sitting next to one of my best friends when the movie ended wanting to ask what she thought of it, but I couldn’t get any words out. I just sat there in disbelief of the masterpiece I had just witnessed. The amazing song paired with the art just helped me have that moment to breathe and bask in the cinematic glory of this film.
When I watched, and I realized it was a cliffhanger, it took me some time to process the masterpiece I had just experienced firsthand. All the people around me were complaining , but I just sat there. And when I finally realized what just happened I was like “You have to be fucking with me right now” Truly a masterpiece
I had a friend who passed away two days before watching this...decided my next day off would he my mental health day which i did but...i was not expecting this film to hit so hard while he's not a big spiderman fan just...the fact this film being the first one i saw post mortem...its gonna have to special special in my heart
When I first saw the end credits, the surge of emotions I felt were amazing. I didn't know whether to burst out crying or whoop with joy, so I ended up just sitting there with my jaw dropped trying to process the mastery I had spent 2 hours watching. It's a fantastic film, and I literally cannot wait to see how the finale plays out and whether Miles can convince Miles-42 to fight alongside him.
Honestly movies like this make me have some faith in this generation. Maybe in 10-15 years we’ll get more movies like this because of how much teens/young adults will be inspired. This movie literally created a new genre of art✨
Not just that but the movie itself was absolutely amazing to the point where sometimes I forgot I was in the theaters and not just spectating the inside of their world. It’s literally so good🔥
All I want this movie to do is win an award for its amazing animation. Also, it should have a chance to be nominated for an Oscar. This is a masterpiece, I LOVE "AM I DREAMING" TOO!
They didn’t have to do good with the credits, this was definitely to show how much animation has grown since then because I have never witnessed something so beautifully made in my life.
Everything’s so massive. The spider that bit him, The Spot, Miguel and the other spiders, his parents and uncle. The only thing that’s face to face with Miles is The Prowler of Earth-42 because he’s not an obstacle, an inspiration or a defining moment of tragedy in his life. He is him. A path that Miles’ life could have easily taken had not something unexpected happened and changed his direction. They both are to each other
My boyfriend told me after the end credit sequence there is no scene and started to stand up. I sat there and said “ I want to appreciate every last second of this masterpiece.” Even the color changes in the background are mesmerizing
I honestly could never be mad about the cliffhanger simply due to the fact that 1) the movie 100% earned the right to use one. And 2) the cliffhanger is executed perfectly.@@Hydrogenelfin404
The scene with Miles and his mom gets to me. My mom passed away in 2011, and as Puerto Rican, with a strict Puerto Rican mom, I understand that whole scene... Hits different.
This is without a doubt the GREATEST Spider-Man movie ever made, and one of my all time favorite movies. The animation to the emotional moments, all the way to that jaw dropping cliffhanger was all top notch! It's a instant classic, and a masterpiece! I can't freaking WAIT for Beyond The Spider-Verse!
This movie is one of those rare sequels that is not only as good as it's predecessor but is actually better than it which is even more impressive when taking into account the fact that ITSV is also an absolute masterpiece.
You ever feel like you’ve been in a Hole for basically more than a Decade? This Movie has done more for me than anyone could ever know. Everything about it is freaking awesome AF. NGL. Basically Movie of the Century for me.
I love how they reused certain animations from the film like the spot or miguel, it makes you feel a certain familiarity and truly helps to take in what you just saw. The painterly look blew my mind when I first saw it in theaters!
this movie better win an oscar for the end credits literally breathtaking heartstopping life rethinking most fire amazing song and animation ive ever seen
See, this is what's happening when you'll actually give people free hand to experiment and free their full potential. You can literally SEE that animators had fun while working at this masterpiece. You can literally feel creators joy while writing the story. That's the power of this movie. No limits.
You may be in luck. The Regal theaters in my area are showing a reissue of the film on Sunday, August 27. If you have a Regal theater near you, check to see if they are doing a showing. Definitely go if your circumstances allow it.
I think it’s still in theaters somehow. Even though it’s been almost 4 months it’s still playing in some places. Make sure you see it soon tho bc I think it’s leaving theaters in a few weeks.
Its just an opinion bro, learn to respect it... Alot of people favor Into The SpiderVerse over this one, and there's nothing wrong with it. This movie is obviously my favorite movie that Marvel Comics ever had a hand in making, but I can understand if its not the same for others.
@@nirjhar4803nah I think he means the absolute ridiculous nitpicks. Like how the movie too long for an animated movie, or the…complete delusional head canons (Gwen being trans and all that twitter drama shit) So yea people can hate on this if it’s reasonable. Completely fine
@@bluz374Or the fact that the movie doesn't properly end. But still , it's like people were absolutely blown away by the entire movie but changed their mind at the last minute and went : "Bruh i like watching a true-real movie with an actual end, not a 2h intro, it's shit, worst movie ever" I swear it looks lile some people actually reacted like that, it's absurde nitpicking !
They didn't have to make this credit sequence this fancy. They didn't have to make a credit sequence at all, they could've just gone to plain credits and nobody would've batted an eye. BUT THEY DID. Mad props.
I remember watching this movie for the first time at the cinema and remembering how the ending happened and then this masterpiece came on, this will be very very nostalgic to me in the future!!!
HOLY DANG THANK YOU SO MUCH keilgor THIS MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME I GET GOOSEBUMPS EVEN IN THE FIRST SECOND THIS HITS WAY TOO HARD AND IS BEYOND PRECIOUS FOR US ALL AND FINALLY WE HAVE THE FULL VERSION!!
