Imma put in the shortest way possible, but i dont think i will be able to. 😅 1. A connon event is something that is supposed to happen to a spider person for their development in their story to go like in their comic. Most spider people's cannon is the same but some r different like gwen( her father doesn't die because he quit being a captain after she saved and revealed her identity to him like in her comic) 2. Miguel isnt an anomaly because that dimension that he was in was already destroyed and he returned to his original dimension. Also he wasn't bit like all the other spidermen but it was due to a dna splice. He is also one of the smarter and logical spidermen in the multiverse. 3. Miles is an anomaly bcoz of the spider from another dimension. That spider didn't bite the peter in prowler miles dimension so that world is a disaster crime filled world. He could've become the second spiderman like in the insomniac video game but only if the spider that bit him was from his dimension. There's no rule that says there can only be one spiderman in that dimension. But even so he became spiderman (literally) so the cannons that happen to spiderman must still happen to miles. 3. Miguel is just looking out for every spider world out there and bcoz he knows what happens when u break the cannon (which has happened multiple times) its understandable that the other spiderpeople follow what miguel says. And its common knowledge that space, time and alternate dimensions shouldn't tempered with if u are not in it. 4. Miles is a stubborn kid that really cant be reasoned with most of the time unless u use tough love( this was also seen in into the spiderverse) and knowing whats at cost if u break a cannon event and someone being constantly willing to break it, i understand why miguel is acting the way he is with miles. 5. This purely a battle between emotion and logic. And being logical (like miguel) will always be better than being emotional (like miles). Especially for something thats supposed to happen. Spot is also the result of miles being an anomaly and now spot is going to ruin every dimension just to defeat miles. Just remember with great power comes great responsibility and i dont think miles fully grasps his responsibility of being spiderman yet.

17:16 Notice how *none* of the Spider-Men/Women said anything through that whole situation. And Miguel having to reassure them they are the good guys… If you look closer to how Miguel treated Gwen, you can see some of them look defensive or like “😠👀” bc they also know he’s wrong

There's a theory that was causing the collapse of the spider-verse isn't the cannon events but incursions like in the MCU because Miguel said he replaced the Miguel of that universe than the whole universe got destroyed. That was an incursion because if the cannon event was for that Spider-Man to die he did that so the cannon event still happen so universe shouldn't have collapsed in on itself. So Miguel sending Spider-Man to help other ones he's the one who's causing the destruction of the spider verse. Another example of a cannon event is gamora being used to get the soul Stone that was a cannon event that already happened so the young gamora could stay in the main universe because her Cannon event couldn't happened because of what happened to her Thanos so the cannon event will still happen just with another character's so there was no other purpose for her to say which is why she's able to come to this universe and time.

Miles and Miguel are both right, also Miguel was only an anomaly to that one universe, like Miguel said miles is an anomaly everywhere bc he’s the original and the reason all of this happened, miles being bit wasn’t supposed to happen, spot accidentally let the spider from 42 escape and it bit miles and there can’t be 2 spidermen in one universe so his Peter died, even tho Miguel is rageful and clearly too hard on miles he is in a way right but so is miles for wanting to save his dad

As many ATSV reactions as I've watched (homebound and incredibly bored), y'all have been the first ones I've come across that immediately questioned the same things I did. Yeah, almost nothing about Miguel's backstory or explanation of things make full sense and is contradictory, and I've got a feeling the "Society" is getting played by him.
