I love how he took the time to give Andrew a relationship advise because clearly he is still dealing with a broken heart. The thing is, we did witness just how hard Peter really struggled with his romance with MJ so it felt really authentic.

Tobey - Mentor (happy medium between Peter Parker & Uncle Ben) Andrew - Older Brother (not at Tobey's level but still bearing the brunt of his responsibilities & mistakes) Tom - Protégé (learning what it means to be Spider-Man)

And this is how you get asses to seats: give the people what they want. Sometimes people don't want great thoughts or high meanings or what not. Sometimes people want to be entertained and escape the world for 2 hours. And this movie, with so much back history both from MCU and the previous Spidermen, it had so much hanging on it - and it delivered so well. I think Marvel & Sony understood the mission perfectly - as they should (but not always do, esp. these days).

I wanted more make out scenes between the 3 spidermen. I didn't get any of that.

I have the deleted scene of a helicopter chase and all of a sudden, you see the helicopter all webbed up in between the Twin Towers but they never used the scene since the movie was released right after 9/11.

@@brannonhill4046 I used to make music videos using movie and anime footage back then. I remember making a cool video using Sailor Moon footage and the song “Every Breath you take” by Sting. Since the song is kind of stalker-ish, it worked perfectly.

yep, every time I hear Nickelback I think of Spiderman. First movie came out when I was like 12, I went to see it with my dad cause he is a Spiderman fan. We went to see Homecoming together too so it was like full circle haha.

I watched the andrew movies during my teenage years which was a depressing phase of my life. The scene were gwen dies always got to me back then. And now as an adult whos happy with life, seeing andrew spiderman finally get his redemption, couldnt help but shed some fuckin tears man.

I didn’t watch ASM 2 because I was getting tired of the “same” so I didn’t know Gwen died until I’d read your comment and I finally watched it and it gave me the same feeling of heart drops mixed with tears 😭 lol

@@OSOJOSHO Honestly TASM 1 & 2 are worth the watch, in my opinion. I made sure to give them a go before watching No Way Home and was pleasantly surprised. Could it have been better? Certainly. Did it have it's own style though? Yeah. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had such great chemistry that it made the viewer truly invested, making the ending that much more devastating. It really helped to give context to this movie in a bittersweet way.

Each spiderman had that moment to fix a terrible mistake or event and it was beautiful.

I like how Tobey's Spiderman did not beg/plead with MCU Spiderman to stop the attack on Osborn. He simply intervened, and got the point across with eye contact alone.

He wasn’t fighting Tobey at that moment when he got transferred to this universe, I mean look how clean he was when he got there on the bridge scene.

He also attacked the MCU versions of Aunt May (Explosion) and MJ(falling from a great height) in the same way as Tobeys' versions, although MJ was Inadvertent.

@@spider-man500 that’s because the MCU isn’t completely over to leave a lasting legacy as a whole like tobey’s Spider-Man and doctor octopus in the same line, but the MCU WILL legacy a MASSIVE legacy from all the movies they’ve made for a wide audiences of people! That’s going to be a far more massive legacy as a whole on how it was able to create all these interconnecting films to one another! There’s a reason why this phenomenal film will be remembered as a whole from all the fantastic things it has done and achieved from all its central characters and villains! Wouldn’t saying their “far greater” than the MCU at all but they are absolute legends apart of comic book movies and in films in general from the movies they’ve been in! That’s for sure!
