What if the timeline breaking at end of Loki is what screws up Strange's spell.

Ned actually ends up becoming Hobgoblin in the comics. So if Ned forgets Peter, then he will likely be turning into a villian.

I feel that Dr. Strange is not himself in this. I mean for somebody who is so calculative it seems so reckless that Strange would cast such a spell, and that too because Peter is whining about his life. It's just not something that Strange would do. Nope! I don't buy it. It is either an evil variant of Strange or Nightmare has taken over Strange subconsciously and is making him do things.

Marvel have a villain problem when it comes to a lot of their movies so how interesting would it be after the spell screws up reality, evil variant Dr Strange is swapped in and with the power of necromancy and chaos magic, resurrects his henchmen Electro, Goblin, Doc Ock, leading to a grand finale fight where Doc Ock sacrifices himself for Pete AGAIN, Tom Holland Spidey has to fight Strange, Andrew Garfield Spidey has to fight Electro AGAIN and Tobey McGuire spidey has to fight Goblin AGAIN; meanwhile the original Dr Strange is in another timeline confused as hell much like how Loki was at the end of his series. That sets up Dr Strange 2 where we get to see how he's gonna navigate his way back to his own timeline with the help of the nexus being Scarlet Witch

I definitely think the reason Strange’s spell messed up is cause of what happened in loki. I would guess the spell would be binding to their universe (the sacred timeline) but since that’s all gone to hell, the spell can’t be casted to a single universe. That’s my theory atleast Also, the villains and characters were gonna see from previous movies aren’t gonna one to one counter parts, I think of it’s the multiverse, they’ll have slight differences from the originals.

There's a thing y'all, Dr. Strange is smart af. If he knows this spell is gonna result to a lot of mess, he will not cast it. So maybe he was NOT the real Dr. Strange. 🤷 Also, there was A TON of hints about Mephisto in WandaVision and in Loki. And if you notice in the trailer, there was a vandalized face of Tom with horns and a mustache AND underneath was a caption "Devil in Disguise" 🙃

Good trailer but I expected more hence my disappointment. I need to see all 3 spiderman swinging through NY with Toby leading the charge.

Idk abt this cuz I am still watching the video at the moment while watching this but on the beginning when they were talking about Peter, killing Mysterio there was a guy dropping some papers and it might be Matt Murdock (Daredevil) cuz even Peter's reaction was different like he was surprised or somethin' Also in this timestamp right here 3:53 , the next clip after showing us Happy, you could see that someone attempted to hurt Peter but (I think because of some kind of protection that Doctor Strange gave, he was saved). Someone actually like attempted to HIGHER the Brightness (or did some editing to see what's really it cuz it is dark almost pitch black at the background) and they saw like a lizard arm or a tail so it could be lizard. After the Lizard (theory) clip, there's actually a LIGHTNING and a SAND STORM combined so I am guessing that this is Jamie Foxx's Electro and the Sandman from the Spider-Man Trilogy. You might think that it might not be him but they might just change the origin of the Electro since we got introduced on the "variants" of each characters in the mcu like Loki.. Even Doctor Octopus's suit is different at the end. idk this are just my thoughts, I've been rewatching the trailer since it got released I lost count on how many times of playbacks I did 😂

So based off this trailer, the plot looks disctinctly similar to One More Day comic book where Spidey made a deal with Myphesto to save Aunt May but had to erase his marriage with MJ. This trailer makes Dr Strange look quite sus tbh with that ‘be careful what you wish for’ line and that train shot where it seems like he’s standing off against Spidey. Be interesting if the evil Dr Strange in the What If? series is actually already in this universe and Steven is actually a variant. In the comics the ‘evil Dr Strange’ Necromancer wasn’t taught about the other dimensions by the Ancient One which is referenced in this trailer when he says the multiverse is something they know frighteningly little about. Also weird if without knowing much about that stuff he’d just dive into casting a spell like that without going over the details with Pete and considering the possible negative consequences of multiversal madness. In relation to the Loki series, Strange’s decision to cast the spell and Peter’s intervention seemingly breaking reality may have been a branch on the sacred timeline that would have been clipped by the TVA but because of Sylvie, there’s no way back so maybe Doc Ock, Goblin and the possible Sinister Six could be variants that can’t go back because they’re dead in the original timeline. Them being dead and Evil Strange’s main focus of power being Necromancy (from the comics and What If?) is also an interesting connection. It’s a madness…and PS at 2:00 that’s Daredevil lool

They didn’t show who his lawyer was: either Daredevil or She-Hulk, Electro will be more comic book accurate, the leaks from the funko pops say there will be 3 Spidermen, Ned Leeds lost some weight and they say he will be a villain in the future, it looks like 2 Dr. Stranges’ cause the one on the train didn’t have his cloak on, clothes were dark and he had an evil intent on his face!

Looks awesome but more hyped for Shang-Chi. Need something new and fresh. Marvel expands the MCU so much through Shang-Chi.

I believe that this Doc Ock, Green Goblin, and Electro are not the same ones that we've seen in the other Spider-Man movies if not, different variations of the villians, possibly from different Earths where they defeated or killed their respected Spider-Man and that Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield are going to appear as flashbacks

I have a theory! What if Doctor Strange pretends he’s helping Peter but in reality he’s just training and showing him how bad the Spiderman in other universes had it or something along those lines. Because Strange doesn’t come off as being that reckless to ruin the universe just after saving it. He could actually be the villain in this movie because why would he get so much screen time.
