Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn/Green Goblin felt very much like Neil Ross' take on the character in Spiderman: TAS after seeing his performance in the film yesterday.

If you look closely they matched the look of The Green Goblin costume to the animated series of the 90s' with the Green suit with the purple kind of giving that Halloween costume-esque look. If you listen closely to the laughter Dafoe gives to the Green Goblin it matches to Neil Ross's laughter on the spot.

2nd greatest Spider-Man movie all time. Best current MCU movie. It was damn good. Laughed, cried and cheered the whole movie. A couple characters needed more time and story development. That’s the only reason I won’t say best Spider-Man film. Defoe killed it! Literally. That first post credit makes you wonder who they’ll use for that in the future. 🤐

Willem set the bar even higher for anyone who would even dare to play Green Goblin, this man was an absolute beast in the movie and managed to improve his almost perfect portrayal of Gobby in the first Tobey Spiderman film.

I really liked the fights in this movie, they felt more brutal than they usually are in these mcu spidey films. Toms Spider-Man is gonna be a lot different now after what he went through in this film. Not gonna spoil it but everyone should go see it and support it! Other than the original Spider-Man film with tobey it’s my favorite one yet. I just have too much nostalgia for that film nothing can top it in my mind

Loved this. John's interview with Benedict was so wholesome. I get literal chills whenever Willem Dafoe speaks, he's got one of those iconic voices. Simu looked pretty lit in all of the stuff I've seen with him from the premiere. Pretty sure he pre-gamed the premiere, but I love him for it. This movie left me stunned after watching it, can't wait to see it again tomorrow.

I’ve never been into red carpet events before, but maybe that’s because the questions are usually softballs from unknown (to me) people in suits and gowns and it’s more pomp and circumstance than substance. The first movie where my boring cinema finally reacted to things happening😭I loved it , 10/10 all around for everyone. Not one bad performance. Such nostalgia with Tobey and Andrew + the villains/ call back lines/references. I’ll always remember watching the first time watching Spider-Man (2002) on a video tape as a kid (I’m an 00 baby) and watching Andrew in the cinema. Despite the countless times we’ve all watched them since, you never forget that first time. Same with daredevil, Ik it’s Charlie cox , Netflix but seeing them on screen just took me back to having a video tape of Spider-Man 90’s cartoon, they did a movie of daredevil vs Spider-Man. And to cap it off, Tom Holland👏🏽he is now Spider-Man, I can’t help but watch recordings on RU-vid of that ending scene with the new suit. He is Spider-Man now like fully fully 😂😆

I finished watching it yesterday and it's just awesome. It felt as if I watched a season finale for a tv show and brought back to John Wesley Shipp's return as Barry Allen/The Flash for one final time in Crisis on Infinite Earths with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. I am going again to watch in today around 12:45 pm in realD 3D to watch it for a second time. For me it felt like resetting the entire universe.
