Just for shits and giggles I played this on a Bluetooth speaker at the local cemetery where I live and a bunch of skeletons crawled out of their graves and started doing the Broadway Step mixed with tap dancing.
Then you'd be ignoring the context that the music is meant for. This plays in fun house taken over the Green Goblin and Mysterio, in which case this music sets the mood perfectly. It's not that hard to believe that this is for a Spider-Man game.
But out of context you wouldnt be able to see this as a spiderman song. The beat sounds like something from earthbound and the samplensounds sound like something out of a deranged Groovepad sample.
@@imfsresidentotaku9699if you made someone listen to this to the first time the probability they would guess it’s from a Spider-Man game is absolutely 0%
I was listening to this song and my dad overheard it and he immediatly identified it as from a spiderman game, he explained he heard it at a arcade 20-30 years ago. I CANT BELIEVE A SONG WAS SO BAD HE RECOGNISED IT DECADES LATER!!!
@@fudgeshroom Sega (like most video game console companies back in the day) released arcade systems that could play various games from their home consoles. For example: The "Sega Mega-Tech" was an arcade system that could play multiple Genesis and Master System games including (that's right) this very game!

Why not? This theme plays at a crazy fun house staffed by the likes of Green Goblin and Mysterio. If you ask me, the wacky samples add to the chaos of the level.
I searched for "spider-man the giggler" and this was the first result, Coney's influence on this song's reputation as the Silly Goofy Gamer Anthem™️ is immaculate and deserved
Yeserday my doctor made me take a 50% increased dose of ADHD medication after messing up and making me go cold turkey and I went into a manic episode. This song on 1.25 speed is legit what it felt like
You aren’t forced to take any medications. I would never take the complete dose, especially not an increased dose, after going cold turkey Cut it into a smaller dose. It’s your prerogative
@@yamayam1389 Yeah it was definitely against my better judgment. It's just that in my experience with healthcare if I don't do what the doctors ask to the letter it can give them an excuse to revoke the support I need. That anxiety and my hope that the prescribers qualifications meant they knew that would happen kinda motivated it in the end. But yeah from now on I'm for sure taking the perspective you have more
I remember my eighth grade science teacher would play this ironically when the students asked for music in class. I always found it absolutely hilarious, so he played it more often to make me laugh.
this theme drew my brother into madness, he shut the game off of me. lololololol I was too busy laughing at him I wasn't even mad..roughly 20 years ago
this is genuinely really catchy without all the hellish sounds. this would be a serviceable, possibly even good, track. the sounds are what will make it forever live in infamy. genius, really.
But it isn't "so bad." The samples add to the wonkiness, chaos, and insanity of the level and thus are perfectly in-line with the mood that the music is meant to set.
