I Cant remember the episode but a death scene is why they took the series down and cancelled it since it supposed to be a kids show its fine for it to be dark but i guess death scenes are supposed to be "implied" not shown back then
@@protosoul5 The death scene you are referring to is episode 12 or 13 (I won't say which character dies to avoid spoilers). But that's not the reason the show was cancelled. The finale was a two part episode, and it was written with such a dark theme and ending because the producers had already been told the show was getting cancelled, so they had to write a series finale when they hadn't planned to. The reason for the cancellation was low ratings. The ratings weren't low because the show was bad, but because at the time of airing, almost nobody knew of it, and not many people were watching it. That's because the networks did a very poor job of marketing it. They hardly advertised it at all. In addition to this, some networks that carried the show were showing the episodes out of order. This added a great deal of confusion to the (small) audience that was actually watching the show. Thus further contributing to decreased ratings. It's a shame, because this is my favourite Spider-man series of all time.
