My favourite Spider-Man In shattered dimensions is the amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man with a cape from what if, Japanese Spider-Man, and Classic Red and Blue Version of Ultimate Spider-Man.
I hate to break it to you, but Edge of Time actually specifically mentions in the costume bios that Miles is the current Ultimate Spider-man in that dimension whenever Edge of Time takes place. (Not that it's really relevant to EoT, since it's focused on Amazing and 2099) For Miles to have become the new Ultimate Spider-man, Ultimate Peter likely still died offscreen, probably the same way his comic counterpart did.
