Notice what Pavitr says during that sequence where he is forced to choose between Gayatri and the bus of people or Inspector Singh and the little girl. "I can do both..!" The reason the bad outcomes are avoided is because Miles was there to help. Spidey can do both - he just can't do it alone. There's the answer most of them don't realize.

I think the “new-generation” Spidermen’s canon events aren’t meant to cause trauma but rather learn to let others help you. Pavitr wasn’t like Peter Parker where he wanted to use his powers for hedonistic stuff, Pavitr already loved being Spiderman and helping people, and losing his girlfriend and her dad wouldn’t do anything but make him depressed and jaded. He was just too cocky about being Spiderman, Miles helping him save Singh and Gayatri really helped to humble him. He knew he couldn’t have saved them both by himself

The more holes speech from the Spot is so accurate to people coping. They don’t try to fill the holes they have and take the wrong path to fixing it, often leading to more holes. This is more clear as when the Spot gains those holes he is clearly unstable, showing how dangerous his line of thinking has become for himself and others

I like that observation. The holes can be symbolic to bad memories, or inhibitions and the like. Like the inability to properly cope with past trauma creates bigger holes. In the beginning the holes aren't so big. But interactions with the person whom he blames for his suffering only seems to result in more holes. Also goes hand-in-hand with the butterfly effect. A "Journey of self-improvement" poised in the wrong direction. Until it becomes dangerous to more than just Miles.

Spot's basically a reality warper at this point. Look at how fast he creates portals now. Even before the collider, not a single hit came even close. Looking at Miles' future visions ..... He's going to be nigh unstoppable. teleportation invulnerability (holes in his body) trapping people in the portal dimension dark matter projectiles + Doctor Strange proved that portals can also be used to instantly decapitate foes projectile redirection tearing down entire buildings and expelling them as rubble shrapnel potentially even shattering dimensions if given prep time you don't fight that much power and live ☠☠☠☠☠

I have a feeling the opening sequence will show him wreak havoc on New York and since Miguel is there he calls in the spider society but they get demolished. This leads to him making a deal with spot to catch Miles and if that happens spot won’t interfere with other universes that can break the canon.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if Miguel’s strict adherence to the canon leads to him making a deal with the devil.

Quick question: How does this still qualify as a canon event when the reason for all this happening were two non-canon characters entering Pav's universe and bringing their differences along resulting in the destruction of the building. What if Miguel is simply missing an important clue that leads to the destabilisation of a universe after disrupting a canon event or not even in relation to the disrupted canon but simply linked to something else what inconveniently happened both times?

Yeah Im pretty sure Miguel is wrong. The only reason the "canon events" happened is because the spider people thought it had to happen, not because it actually did. And the reason Pav's universe fell apart was probably because of the spot, not breaking the canon event.

So spot and Miles are anomalies, not non canon. Once Miles became Spiderman he joined the canon. My assumption would be that once Miles joined the canon, he could still influence canon events, he just isn't supposed to prevent them? I'm not sure but in all fairness, the comics have had multiverse shenanigans that resulted in dead Spider people at the hands of villains not from their dimension.

My running theory is that the deaths aren't what are important to a universe, but trying to replace someone who died causes the universe to collapse. Which makes me think Earth-42 Miles is gonna try to steal Main Miles' dad, and is gonna cause Earth-42 to destabilize and disappear.

i'm pretty sure miguel is incorrect about canon events. as you can see, when miguel showed his universe dying, it all glitched and faded away, but in mumbattan, you can see a big hole emerge. i presume that it is spot, and not the universe dying.

idk if any yall noticed but during the future vision there are flash frames of other stuff. One of which is Miles approaching the spot (within 5:58) another of the spot just being on the ground (within 5:58 but a couple of frames before Miles approaching the spot) and my favorite being the spot hovering above a ton of spider men and women obviously beaten in combat (within 5:52). I suggest playing these at 0.25 speed as they all last 1-2 frames making them hard to catch.

Oh wow! Just slowed down the "future" scene to get a glimpse and dang... A few frames of many spider-people lying on the street below Spot looked very foreboding. Like the multiverse tried and failed. Also didn't realize Spot is pulling in buildings and cars to hurl out at Mach speed. Likely why the building starts to tumble.

The Mumbai Spider Universe is not collapsing because the canon event was not "achieved" it is because Spot/the collider messed around. If you look at 6:48 and also 7:23 you see that the blackness is spreading. Means that the whole building is like an infection and when it finally came to rest at the bottom of the bridge it started to spread from there.

It could be that universes are naturally course-correcting, and that they'll try to reach the canon through whatever means are at hand. If not Spot, then through another method. Of course, it's also implied that Miguel's Canon Events theory is complete bollocks, and that he's projecting his guilt at whatever catastrophe destroyed his borrowed universe onto all of the others.

I think the writers purposefully put some plot holes to be explained in the next film. The Canon Events theory isn’t even known to be 100% factual, just a theory Miguel made. When Gwen asks him if he knows if something bad will happen if he breaks a canon event, he says do you wanna find out, showing he doesn’t entirely know himself if it’s entirely factual. Or maybe it could just be a plot hole, we’ll see in the next film I guess, but I doubt it cos the writers of these films are really good.

If Miles saves his dad, just like he did on India spider man's dimension.. it could be double canon destruction, and we all probably gonna die. The Spot has really become powerful like, he developed the canon event for particular spider-man's story. Gwen team never gets serious with Spot and we literally witness in this clip that they can't defeat him either, so I'm really excited how it their leap of faith turns out in the next movie.

Always thought it was weird that India's New York has a place where Britain stole their stuff as if Britain would have the capacity to do that when India is the dominant country in this dimension. Also weird that they stored the things they stole in a building located in Mumbattan. Kinda weird but idk.

Something just struck me that Miguel isn’t right about some things, because if this canon event is caused by spots and spots became spots because of miles, who is an anomaly, then this canon event shouldn’t have happened or shouldn’t be a canon event in the first place. So either miles is not an anomaly or there’s really a way to alter those canon events.
