@@bbnnmm9 you can open it. All you have to do is flip that little rubber tongue open. I often forget, though, so the person on the other end of the phone keeps saying “hello, hello”, and that’s my cue that they can’t hear me and I forgot to open the rubber tongue covering the power port. Also, the touch ID is hit and miss - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Most of the times it doesn’t, so I have to enter the PIN., despite the fact that I have the screen sensitivity option turned on.

@@TheGr8scott it's not hard to remove. There is a finger nail grove to start separating the case on the bottom.

Hi , of course , to what extent does the protective glass film affect the image quality . But not heretical, it's just that the glass is scratched with all of them and it will need to be replaced with a new protective glass for the camera lens

I’ve had this case for over a month. If I push aside the rubber piece that covers the mike, I can be heard by a caller. Otherwise, no. Interestingly, if I do the same thing I am unable to record a message in Whatsapp, for example, even if I speak really loudly. The only way to record a mssg on Whatsapp is to dictate into the mike of a set of earbuds/headphones. I can definitely hear Whatsapp mssgs recorded for me by others without earbuds - no problem there. Hope this helps.

@@miltechmoto well, not even water is supposed to be able to get in but, frankly, I haven’t put it to this kind of test. I suspect that if any dust gets in it will be minimal - the only way dust (and sand) could get in, I think, is if you forget to cover the charging port with the piece of rubber made for this purpose (and is part of the cover).

@@rambl6993 because the way you could get scratches is if sand makes its way between the layers and the under the screen protector where it will rub under immense pressure. Even my old phone with a rubber case is scratched around everywhere the case is contacting due to minor dust making it's way inside.

It seems like no case is truly damage-proof for a phone, and the best strategy is to avoid exposing it to drops, sand, etc. Don’t know what to say about dust getting in and accumulating. Maybe it would be a good idea to once in a while remove the case and wipe off the ports.

i know, just got mine today but the mic is useless with case on. its weird, when i talk on the phone people can hear me fine but if i use it to record my voice for podcast or anything else it doesn't work. Worthless for sure

Finger print scanners inherently wont work on enclosed phone cases. Why are people retarded?

The fingerprint does work but if you don't put it on exactly right it won't. The directions that come with it aren't very great and this video is also kind of terrible because it doesn't really go over it in any detail.
