Spiderman (2001) Playthrough Ep.14: MAXIMUM CARNAGE!! 

First video game I ever played here. Introduced me to the world of Spider-Man and video games. Great stuff.

I see a lot of ways of defeating carnage. You can pull it into the sound bubble with your web yank (down left or down right depending on the side), instead of hitting him with your fist making a risk of pushing him to another side use your web attack, it will always push him foward, you can grab him and throw him into the bubble (in PS version you can grab him with the triangle and circle button at the same time) and inside the bubble carnage will suffer when the bubble is visible, when it dissapears carnage will try to escape, you can keep him in the sound area with your web trap until the bubble becomes visible again, then free him and he will suffer again until the bubble disappear again, then just repeat the proccess and thats all

yeah me too :D haha I miss being a little kid :´) everything was so perfect, and innocent, no corrupted minds or anything, just fun and fun all day :DD man! I really miss those days

carnage's voice is just too familiar even though i haven't heard in at least 10 years

man as a 5 year old this took me forever to beat! i dont think i ever got past it. good times

i just used to punch him into the sonic bubble and hold him with webbing lol easiest villain to beat #thuglife

the homing jump punch kills everything in this game! almost.

The voice of Carnage is Dee Bradley Baker. He voiced Numbuh 4 (Kids Next Door), Ben Tennyson's Aliens (Ben 10), etc.

man i miss this game. though i beat it a LOT faster when i played it on my ps1. i was like 8 then. Thanks for the post

This must be the PC version, cos carnage looks so defined on this one compared to ps1

Thats not the scarlet spider costume :P and who doesnt know carnage? carnage was like the best villiam of all time, the whole series of the carnage stuff lasted almost a year and crossed multiple comic book

Just jump to the other side and web tank him into the bubble. This was always the shortest fight for me.

@Ahturos Ahahaha. The 1782 thing was a joke, Marvel did a alternate universe like that. Also Enter Electro is amazing. I've been searching forever to find it again. I' hoping they'll put it on PSN. I wanna be surprised. Anti venom would be a nice treat. But he's going to be in the new Spidey game i believe.

Not to mention it gives extra damage if you punch him up while he's in there.

@jda494 Depends, I am playing on Wii the one alot says got worse graphic, but it´s just not so flashy as the others. I like it, it´s level bassed but they are long, like if you take this game when you fight Venom the first time til you meet him again the level would include all those levels bettwen. Combat is funny, some levels are good, and all the voice acting is funny from times. Not much of a story each level got just like small issues to take care of, and alternativ suits 3 each spidey.

A year after the matter I learned that. I always figured the bubble hurt Spidey also when I was a kid. The fear of damage made me not go for it.

I was always under the impression that the sonic bubble hurt me. I realize it doesn't now... Two years after the video is made.

Your supposed to web him up and keep him in that soundwave bubble that's how you beat him.

we should turn this into a drinking game every time he says "here i come" take a drink

carnage can be dealt with easy by pressing i think square and triangle to do a grapple, and then press circle to kick him into the centre.

playing this on the hardest difficulty was a pain in the ass

I was playing with a keyboard. I was more of a console gamer at the time so it was completely foreign to me. I plan on re-doing this game on PS1 when i find it because it isn't compatible with windows 7.

The PC versh is much btter in details. Damn... And, you have to put Carnage in that sonic bubble. It will drain his health quicker. smh

you can use your webs for block carnage inside the sound wave during it recharge

i just dont understand why you never tried to attack him right afer he was weekended by the bubble, thats the best time to lay down spiderpunches and you would avoid him

This video was made over three years ago when I knew nothing about editing video or audio. Hell I even think it was done on Windows Movie Maker. Since then I have become a much better Let's Player with live commentary. I now edit my audio and video so that there isn't much of the boring stuff. But thank you for the advice. @kevin58873 I'm not dumb my good sir. I just played the game as I did as a kid. I beat this game millions of times when i was like 6 and 7. That's just how i remember doing it. I'll try that method next time I play it though. Thanks for the tip. =D

@jda494 Yeah. I am only playing on keyboard but it works for me. But I will soon try and upload a test of my project I send you a message when I do, it´s some works to do and it will not look very good but just for laughs becuse when I played that game it fellt alot like this one so I have chosed 4 costumes 4 bosses each playing a level to represent the SD game. Wanna guess?

But sadely I don´t have Enter Electro, never owned a PS 1 but I found Enter Electro ones in a store and was always curious over it. I would have bought it for my friend who had a PS1, but to late now. I wil include tutorial and Final boss, so wanna guess again like Venom says?

You know, I just downloaded and played it myself just now, on hard difficulty, and beat the shit out of Carnage (no cheats) Ok, upload the video kicking his ass :D

I was recording for a Projekt I got combinging this game with Shattred Dimension and I was Black Suit Spiderman fighting Carnage on Hard and is that HARD!!!! I was dying all the time, yours here seemed harder thought. Yeah I really prefer to fight him fair and not cheat with web him all the time he is in that loud bubble. It reflexes and all carefull moves becuse this maniac is not letting anyone near him, best boss to be frustrated with and Mysterio..i fire my small nibble lazers..

Just to clarify something... Why are you fighting in the outside of the forcefield? Also, why hasn't anyone picked this up in the comment box??? :/ That force field consists of ultrasound, it is their weakness. This youtube video was 15 minutes, and so far you've died once into it. -.- If you trap carnage in there then web him up so he cant escape he'll get serious amounts of damage, im not joking when i say this but i will say it, this fight CAN last only 45secs-1min if you do it right.

actually i enjoyed you videos pretty much. in all other videos they are pulling carnage inside sonic bubble and using web to tie carnage inside bubble and carnage gets instant pwn which is tataly uninteresting..

Also playing on a laptop keyboard. I'm thinking about just redoing the whole game just because I got my PS3 controller to work. Then I will destroy Carnage.
