I saw a device like this in a science museum once and I got to wear it and walk through a course blindfolded. It was much bigger and composed of 2 shoulder pads, but it worked the same way. I think it was designed by students at MIT and it’s intended for blind people to use.
I find this a nice example of showing people that someone can have an amazing power but it doesn't mean that they automatically be able to use it at its best or at all
@@jees9179then we wouldn’t have those senses in the first place... what’s the point of humans having senses they wouldn’t even be able to use? That’s like giving a computer extra useless features that require extensive hacking to activate
@@jees9179senses come from our physical features. That’s like asking if someone without eyes could actually see if they had eyes. Which yes obviously they could, but they don’t.
@@lockonstratos7787Thay already exist in all forms and sizes, thing is, if they are resistant, they won't shoot, and they can be shot, they will be pretty weak, and so it happens. In real life is pretty hard to find or create a material as great as the web from Peter is.
The basic idea can work. Similar and more functional dispositive are used for blind children to help them understand their bodies' position into 3D space.
They'd still likely need a stick, as these can only sense motion coming towards the person, not stationary objects/barriers on the floor. Plus, the range on these doesn't seem too far, so still hard to dodge out of the way of anything moving too fast. Still, step in the right direction, for sure!
So, they have Spidey Senses and the ability to create advanced prosthetics like Bucky’s arm, now the the shield, Nat’s stun rods, the Iron Man Suit, a collapsable recurve bow, nanotechnology, and a bunch of gamma rays (if they haven’t already made all that), and they’ll have most of the Avengers.
You see this type of thing would be practical in an actual scenario where you aren't expecting it. After a while in this video he starter to expect the balls and move accordingly.
This is insane. You guys are insane. I believe you'll be the first guys to assemble the first working Iron man suit (maybe not flying necessarily) or something like that. Your ideas are nuts and that you can actually build them is mighty impressive!
Reminds me of the guy that did the "I can give 1 superpower but only 1" shorts, and he pointed out most superheros have some kind of superhuman body in order to utilize there other powers. Like a normal human couldn't withstand the speed of Flash.
I was always thinking that in the future, we would be able to make things that would give us real life super powers, and people like this guy have actually accomplished it, well done
spiderman had to learn this same way. He had to trust to let the sense be his predictor and react instantly. I think in one comic he actually did just this to practice.
The spider sense can also sense malicious intent or evil intent . When in the game of spider man insomniac you can see if the Fisk mission as the minions that were disguised as guards weren’t doing anything and spider sensed that something was wrong
