Man I cant believe it was 5 YEARS ago that Dan did his original Spider-Man playthrough. I still remember waking up every day and checking over and over to see if the new vid was released yet. So excited to get to do that at least one more time. Thanks Dan. :)
I really admire the fact that Dan’s taking an oldschool approach with this let’s play with the chilled out, lesser edited videos, unlike 99% of RU-vidrs nowadays. I really missed this style of content and im so happy to see it return. Not to mention that really well put together intro. Keep it up Dan!
And yet, I haven't seen a SINGLE youtube channel that's playing Spiderman 2 have any heavily edited videos. All I've seen are lets plays, which are pretty unedited. You're pretending this lack of editing is something exclusive to Dan when it isn't.
@@QUBIQUBEDhe never said it was exclusive, he said 99% of youtubers heavily edit their videos, which is a over exaggeration but true to an extent. Dantdm is one of the more prevalent youtubers who has more "old school" content. However you are correct too.
honestly the only 4 gaming series I have ever enjoyed watching of any creator's is Dan's Pokemon Sword and Shield series, Dan's Minecraft series, Dan's Spiderman series and Markiplier's Fnaf series. I always come back to binge watch them when I have a bad day
This was so good. Watched Jack's playthrough, now I'm doing yours, then I'm doing Mark's! We'll get the whole trilogy up in here. I'm real excited to see how different the different POVs are.
@areallybigannoyingorangefa6562, They definitely are to me! I mostly enjoy watching how different one playthrough is from another and seeing how Mark, Dan, and Jack's personalities and experiences impact how they play and how they react to things! Plus, they're funny.
I didn't want to watch any playthroughs till this one! Dan's Playthrough on Spider-Man 2018 and Spider-Man Miles Morales are so good. So Excited for Spider-Man 2 and this series. 🤘🏼🔥
I love how Dan keeps referencing Spider and his Amazing Friends as his source of knowledge! It's so cool how a show he watches with his son is informing him of the lore in the adult game he's playing!
One of my favorite parts of this game was the scene of them sneaking through the school. Really sells that they are friends. I also really love Peter's smile when Harry starts singing Never Gonna Give You Up
I’ve been watching dantdm for 10 years now and I don’t regret any of it. He helped me through some tough times in my life. I remember coming home everyday from school and immediately checking if he posted any mod showcases. Watching the original spider man game 5 years ago was fun and now watching this one is even better. Keeping it chill and not editing a lot just makes it even better. Brings back memories of the best childhood ever.
I love the fact that all the collectibles aren't just random things, but actually have a reason in the story, too! And there's so many of them to grab while swinging (or gliding) through New York!
I have been watching dan for around 9 or 10 years, he has been a wonderful thing in my life. I remember checking youtube every day after school to see if he had a new video out. Dan has helped me through countless tough times in my life and I truly mean it when I say he is one of the greatest youtubers of all time. I remember all the minecraft mod playthroughs and the og spiderman gameplay just all of his content is extremely entertaining and I hope he continues to upload for years to come. Thanks Dan!

5:14 in the last spider man game when peter came back to new york after the main story he was talking to miles about finding an actual job other than being spider man that would actually make him money. Miles mentioned teaching and peter said he would think about it. Love that the developers elaborated on that in spider man 2
I remember waking up every morning before school with Dan’s other games and seeing how the story progressed with Dan, so this is video extremely nostalgic for me.

I loved watching Dan, he's been my favourite mc youtuber since childhood, and as sad as it sounds, I grew up, I watched his other spiderman ps gameplays, and then kinda forgot about him, I matured a little bit, then sm 2 came, I couldn't play it of course so I was wondering whose gameplay to watch, I remembered dan doing the sm ps4 gameplay, I quickly searched it up and wow, the nostalgia, I'm so glad Dan's doing the gameplay, time to refresh some memories.
Love how Miles and Peter obliterate Marko with a hyper beam then just fall in the water with the most anticlimactic *plop* Edit:The Sandman fight really gave me Spider-Man 3 vibes. Anyone else?

Im very happy to be watching this playthrough. It really brings me back to when we were 8 or 9 years old and we were watching the spiderman 1 playthrough every single day. Christmas rolls around and boom. We got the game and havent stopped replaying it since :)

Here Dan let me help you with some Spider-Man stuff. So Kraven the hunter is one of spidys villans who is deemed to be the greatest hunter but he eventually got bored so he went to New York and began hunting Spider-Man as a part as his great hunt. One time he kidnapped Peter buried him alive and used a black suit of peters costume and was Spider-Man for a while before he unsubscribed himself from life the comic was called “Kravens last hunt”

Just know Dan the reason the most popular RU-vids are not getting as many views on this game is because peopel want to play the game and not get spoiled So don’t hesitate to make this a series as once most people play the game they will want to see how others reacted to it as they did

Let's GOOO! I'm so excited for this series! I absolutely loved your playtrough of spiderman PS4 and the DLC's way back in 2018. For one because I grew up watching your videos, but also the way you made the videos. You were there, adding your commentary, playing the game, being the Dan we know and love, but you gave space for us to follow and feel the story as well. I have been waiting eagerly for the game, and am so happy you are here to play it again! This is gonna be fun
